New NED Features.
Ned, the humble n editor has changed the lives of many NUMA users. But is ned enough? Do we want more?
Do we want more freedom with tiles? Do we want nreality mods more user friendly?
You may answer yes, or no. That is up to you, and you only to choose. Want to express your point? The speek up on this forum!

You kidding, we should ALL have that avatar!maestro wrote:The real question is "what the hell is that guy doing with Atramentis's avatar?"
And I'd love to see certain mods built into the NED controls. Perhaps sometime in the future, M+R will go through Nreality's ideas and choose those they feel are best suited to the game and add them in - n1.5, anyone? :)

Hand-drawn tilesets. That would be so cool.

Don't flame newbs, becoming a great author takes time, and you're not too good yourself, so be quiet.BionicCryonic wrote:Hand drawn tiles would SUCK!

EDIT :: No wait, hipocrisy. It's a better definition of hipocrisy.

Sorry. But seriously, you know those z-snapers who just pop stuff on the map at random? Imagine if the could make tiles. And, it would need a ton more data space in the code.

But the results of the good mappers wood be so awesome.
Really, hand drew tiles would be for Numa what Cheddar is for cheese.
The best thing there is.

condog. it's spelled "hypocrisy". lol.
i think that having hand-drawn tilesets would not be a good thing. i can't exactly put it into words, but it would detract in a major way from the mapmaking/playing experience. it also may not be practical; i understand the game itself is grid-based, and hand-drawn junk would not work with grids.

No. N's best feature is it's simplicity. It'd be a shame to ruin it.

Implementing a more user-friendly way to incorporate Nreality mods and moving that damn tab+q combination so I don't lose any more good maps are my two top features.

If it's any help, you can change the boss key to something other than tab.

And the point of the thread maybe that some users may think code for nreality is somewhat too time consuming.Evil_Sire wrote:Have you heard of Nreality? Possiblities are endless. Pointless thread.
That's actually my opinion.
