I recently started working on a new map and I won't tell you the theme but I am trying to have tendrils of darkness throughout most of the map and no matter what I do I just can't seem to make tendrils out of tiles it always looks strange and clumpy. So maybe someone could give some tips on making things like tendrils and other rounded things to help me improve my maps in the foreseeable future it would be greatly appreciated.

No I meant if you could help with what tiles to use when and things like that to make tendrils, not a picture of tendrils.
