Most collabs are organized and carried out via IRC. If you're looking for a collab, just drop by #n or #n-mapping and you'll probably be able to get something started. You can find information on IRC here.

Phei I appreciate your help, but it doesn't work. How do I get IRC? Do I download the link? Or something?

Get firefox. Download add-on 'ChatZilla'. Restart Firefox. Enter URL. *Poof* (Da man said poof)
Or pay ?$20? to get mIRC. I don't see the point though when you can get a free chat client...

I'm going to assume you're on Windows.

The most commonly used client is mIRC, which is freeware (you do not have to pay for it, despite messages suggesting the contrary when you open it up).

If you think you'll get annoyed by that pop-up box every time you open the program, other popular alternatives include Chatzilla (if you have Firefox - if you don't have Firefox, don't bother downloading it just for the chat add-on);

And XChat (which is my personal recommendation, since I dislike browser-based chat programs and XChat is pwetty). There's no great advantage to using any particular program.

All the other relevant info is in that thread that Pheidi linked.

Also, no; this is generally considered to be wrong Subforum, unless you're planning a gigantic community collab (you never know - it could be fun).

I'd advise the N Mapping area.

Mibbit works too. You don't have to download anything, just click here.

As others before me have said, you want either IRC, Ventrilo or the N Mapping Subforum.
