yesterday (in my bed :p) i've had a nice idea:

The Monthly Map Contest

Presentation

It's a mapping contest for each month of the years arranged by 5 judges.
Each first day of a month the 5 judges publish a theme of the month, with some rules, some restricted thing,... And the mapper have 2 weeks for make a level in the theme of the month. After this, the judges have the rest of the month for choice the best map !

Rules

- The mappers have to put (MMC) at the end of his level's name.
- The mappers can only submitted one map and can't change her map after post it.
- If the rules aren't respected the map is eliminated.
- Mappers have the 1st of the month from the 15th of the month at midnight to post their maps.
- The Judges have to give a rating the 1 from 10, 1/2 points are allowed. the average is making for each maps and the best 3 maps are published on the Monthly Map Contest topic.

Not for me, thanks. Rules are a bit bland, and I don't want to put (MMC) on my lovely level names. =3

You can decide to participe or no for each month :)
The rules are provisional, you can suggest some other rules if you prefer. For exemple, if nobodies want to put (MMC) st the end of their map name, i delete this rules.
And the contest begin only in janiary, now i'm searching for some judges who can help me to rate and organize the contest ;)

First of all, this idea is good, but you haven't thought it through.
Second, your grammar and spelling is awful, it also looks like you just jotted the idea down onto this without and consideration to formulate your sentences. Yes, I can see your english isn't good so you are excused for your grammar, but its a computer, its can fix your spelling
Third, this thread should be in the contests.

Amazing idea. It's high time we had something like this happen again. I'd like to see this happen often.

What? Oh, okay, sure, sounds cool. I can fit this in. I may have to drop out if the panel of judges is too terrible, and as such I'll try to get cool people to volunteer. Know you have support from multiple high places now. :)

You know, this is cool. I could muster out a map a month for this.

The theme and rules for the first month (january) are ready !
We have new a judges (Winter_Red_Snow) so we are 2 and i think 3 or 4 judges are enougth.
If you want to become a judges, just send me a PM !
Become a judge does not require you to stay connected 24h/24h, you just have to rate some levels and suggest idea for the next month.
If you can become judge just for one or two month is not a problem ;)

Right, well then. Here's the new thread. I think it's simpler for everyone if we just lock this and move on.
