Not a cheat. a problem that kept happening to me.
The doors look pretty ugly. So do some of the one-ways.
Also, I preferred the more action-type version of the map.

Dibs. IMO, I think drone pathing maps really don't get produced well without a solid idea, and I personally have no Idea where this has gone off to or where it will go. Thus, I present my ideas:
1: Move the switch to the end, and make the path fairly linear. Change it into an Nreality map that will change all the zap drones into chaser drones when you hit the exit switch. Thus, the object becomes to disperse the zap drones and the path back to the exit so that it doesn't become nigh-impossible to get through.
2: The drone-race thing. I have no specific ideas as to how this will work.
My edit of the map will come soon.
EDIT: No dibs. I got completely lost. You guys keep going. I really don't know what to do here, but I want to see how it turns out.

Yeah. I kinda don't like the end, either. The beginning is great, though. I might try to edit it. We could also move the exit to the end...

Strange Map.
It's strange how the drones do that at the end, isn't it?
I don't have time to edit it now, I will later.
Edit2: Don't worry, It's not dead! (well, at least it won't be) I have finals in a few days, so I'm tied up at the moment, but I'll be contributing by next weekend if things go according to plan!
Edit3: Bah. I'm much too lazy. I'll revive this sooner or later.

this is disorienting as hell. too many trapdoors, way too complicated. god, this is a mess. I tried to fiddle with it, but the drones got in the way

I love the idea of this thread, but in all fairness I think this second map has turned out as a dud. Since I doubt anybody can do anything with it and since I'd like to continue the thread, would anybody object to just dropping this mess of a map and starting again, with a new agreement to not do any puzzles?

I may be an idiot, but I like it just fine. Could I just submit it and give credit to those who helped build it? I'd be fine with moving on to a new map while respecting a new rule.
and so it goes, and so it goes, and so will you soon i suppose.

I didn't start this thread or this map, so I don't really have a final say on any of this, but whatever you want to do that would get the thread rolling again seems great to me. This map just has too much going on to get people to edit it.
Or maybe we can work on two maps at once?

Is this still going? I know that it's impossible to edit the current map, but maybe a new one could be posted?

Here, I'll start a new one just to get things going again, while we figure out what to do with the old one.
Go forth and build it!

A slight edit:
Also, TheEverPresent, there's a NaN in your data :/
And use the map tags.

Sorry, but I honestly couldn't resist adding some biohazardous material to this map. ^_^

I seem to be skilled in the art of chaingun.
To be totally honest, I didn't really like what you did, but I tried to adapt anyway. Hope this is good.

Woah, sorry guys! I seriously had no knowledge of any of the posts after my last one. I'll be editing my sig and becoming more active with this, although finals are fast approaching.
How about this? If you liked it better before, please. Just skip me. This is mostly your map.
Edit: Bionic has another edit, which he PM'd to me:

I don't really like your edit. Yook out the mechanics that I worked hard to refine.

Oy. I kinda forgot about this (Thanks for the PM heatwave, and sorry for the wait all). Let me do one last edit or so. It's definitely not done yet, we don't even have a door...
I'll let you guys look at this. I like it, but I made several biggish changes that you should look at before submission.
I got rid of the floorguard; that whole area felt like it had too much, what with the laser AND the chainguns.
I also edited the exit switch part a bit.
The most dramatic thing I did was to get rid of that lower passage in the middle. I thought it felt kind of unneeded, and now the map feels more focused on getting the switches in any order. I like the change, and It seems ready for submission on my end but I feel like I should check in with you guys first on these changes.
