My apologies, everyone, but I'm afraid the MRG is being discontinued, at least for a while. As I'm sure you're all aware, participation has been dwindling the past month, with most weeks seeing only 1 group. I suppose that isn't a problem in itself, but when combined with my own dwindling interest and a rather unwieldy database/messaging system, I just don't feel like it's worth it to keep up with it.
I may bring it back in a few months, or maybe half a year, or maybe not at all. I can't say at this point. In the meantime, If somebody wants to try their hand at running a similar group, I wouldn't be opposed. Otherwise, there's always the MCT/MRT, and don't hesitate to PM each other for rate exchanges.
Thanks for participating!
P.S. I'll post final stats in about a week, when I'm back home and can access the files.

Well, I have an idea about it. Contact one of the numa admins, make them link to this thread on FAQ, About, and they should put it to top of the news page (main page) on Numa. Just an idea though, I liked this group, MCT/MRT are too slow, you hage to wait for next person any you only gain one rating, I don't like/use it too much at the moment.Avarin wrote:My apologies, everyone, but I'm afraid the MRG is being discontinued, at least for a while. Thanks for making it a fun year, everyone! I'll try to bring this back at some point, because it's a good program for both getting rates and encouraging participation within the community. See you all then!

In light of this map-playing challenge to the community, I am strongly considering reviving the MRG for a second "season", say in a week or two. Feel free to express support (and/or claim your spot, in the event this becomes reality) by posting below.
Also, I'm looking for feedback/suggestions. What did you guys like from last time? Any new features you'd like to see?
Thanks again, everyone!
