You could say the same about bot threads that are clearly spam; we're expected to mop up that crap, but not this crap?

Tsukatu forgets that SlappyMcGee posts twice a month, is relevant to the Metanet Family, and is entitled to execute any decision he makes without other moderators' approval. I understand how annoyed he may have been at my post asking for other moderators' approval.

The number of images I would post here might get me banned, but despite that I don't feel this thread is necessary. Like most of you, I don't exist solely on the forums. I'm on Tumblr almost every day, and that's where I want to get my meme fixes. Some of you will Stumble them, other will reddit (eww) and a few might even browse Hot Maps and see one or two. The forums are a great place to crowdsource certain things, like music reviews or help and advice. Humor, on the other hand, is something on which we as a whole never seem to agree. More power to chocollama if he wants to start a collection, but please take it somewhere else.

We don't delete posts based on post quality. We delete posts because they are made by bots and generally trying to sell a product as opposed to interact with other human beings on the forum. If we were deleting posts that weren't up to a certain standard of humor or intelligence, Yahoozy would have zero posts. :/

But I could agree that since the Image boards are mostly for image creation, this should be moved to Fun and Games.

So you demoted Yahoozy and dropped his posts to zero, but didn't move the thread to the Pie Forum? This place can be awfully petty.

The people who enjoy memes are the same people that laugh at the second clip on a 'TRY NOT 2 LAUGH AT THIS' video. As said, humour is something that Metanet tends to be a split on. However, the people in the community who matter (they know who they are) enjoy a much higher class of comedy, something which I can sympathise with. Those with different tastes (see first post) tend not to get accepted by higher-ups. Not that anyone needs their acceptance. Staying in a community for several years just for that would be a bit silly, wouldn't it? ;_;

EDIT: Actually, there is one meme I kind of like. Insanity Wolf. I can sympathise with him.

I enjoy Tsukatu posts, british humor, It's Always Funny in Philadelphia Wes Anderson movies and the odd meme. Sometimes I don't fall in love with a joke because it doesn't seem like there has been a ton of effort, but sometimes I don't laugh because it's too constructed.

Why can one person laugh at only one kind of humor? I spend all day laughing at everything, not just memes. And yes, Futurama is great stuff.
