It is in fact debated whether his crazy drawings are all because of the schizophrenia, but I sure feel crazy after looking at them.

One time, I went with an Urban Explorer friend as he broke into a derelict Mental Asylum in Surrey. We found former inmates art strewn about one of the rooms and it was not dissimilar to some of these (aside from the fact that most of them were collages of animals made with coloured pasta bits and polystyrene pieces).

And I read COCK YOUR MEAT. I'm not sure what that says.

I like the picture of the cat jamming out on the banjo. Or maybe guitar. Fiddle?

I like #6. Looks like they're shocked that they have kids.

This is my favourite. Great job finding these, maestro. Not only are they creepy, they are an extremely different art style than what is usually found in Images.

these are really interesting, i'd never seen them before. I liked how you arranged them as well, you can kind of see the crazed aspect shine through his art as you scroll down. At first it's all realistic and then it morphs into those crazy technicolor ones at the end

The eyes ARE TOO DAMN OPEN! And the flowers just catches more your attention to the eyes.

This thread was spawned from maestro doing research into tapeworms, which eventually led to the cats, believe it or not, and he posted a bunch of links to pictures of tapeworms on IRC. That was one of them.

In other words, it's an inside joke.

Exactly. The last two pictures don't even look like cats any more.

The intermediary between looking up tapeworms and finding the cats was parasitic diseases on Wikipedia, which then lead to toxoplasmosis and my rant about the French. I think Toxoplasma freak me out more than these cats.

Also, "The Fire of the Mind Agitates the Atmosphere" is the title of this one:
