Based on the exuberance post on the old fourms:
So... I just traced all of the enemies in N+ (as seen on the Xbox360 version) into Flash so they could be used on the computer. Enjoy. (P.S. There is no giant mine in N+. I just added that to show the detail since most people will probably only see a red circle on their TV unless they look closely and don't have a small TV)

The enemies are: (in order)
Rocket Launcher, Rotating Laser Drone, Thwump, Zap Drone, Floorguard, Mine;
Gauss Turret, Laser Drone, Chaingun Drone, Seeker Zap Drone, Force Field Drone, (Enlarged) Mine.

Seems he used straights lines to trace (looking on his source files)
I'm about to redo the SVG file on Inkscape.

More informations soon...

Im glad someone finally ported this over onto the new forums, these images will be incredibly useful in some of my possible future sig themes. Unfortunately I dont have Macromedia Flash, so I cant actually use them in game :(

I don't have either, that's why I use Inkscape.

I uploaded it in several sizes of PNG files, as a metafile, and as an SVG. You should be able to open it. If you need a specific size of drone, feel free to PM me with teh dimensions, and I can make a PNG image of that size for you.

Also, I'll have to look into this Inkscape. Looks pretty neat.

EDIT: I never uploaded a metafile. How 'bout that.
EDIT AGAIN: Also, you said something about straight lines? Does that mean it didn't convert to SVG properly :( I hope it did.
EDIT AGAIN^2: The windows picture view that comes with stupid stupid Vista no longer supports a WINDOWS metafile (*epic fail sigh*) so I have no way of telling if this export worked or not. I`ll have to check them on my XP machine and post them here when I've confirmed that Flash hasn't butchered the file in converting it (which is maybe why I never uploaded it before)

EDIT AGAIN CUBED: Well the terrible non-anti-aliased-but-still-vector-rending of Word Perfect has confirmed that all is good except one thing: The bottom half of the gradient the Thwump glow is messed, but I can fix that. I'll upload them here soon. Or I'll just make another topic.

EDIT AGAIN SQUARED SQUARED: OK, got the .wmf working. I'm uploading it here, and I'll also repost my old topic on these files with new sizings (I realize the old ones didn't fit in normal tile sizes as they were supposed to)

EDIT AGAIN + FAIL: Stupid forums don't allow you to attatch wmf files. Isn't that nice?

Hey! Exuberance!

You are back!

Well, I try to reconvert your work in SVG because these scripts who convert bitmaps in vectors are not that good.

Also, not everybody have Fla$h.

Do you have any originals shots of the Xbox version?

I try to respect you work as much I can but, if there is an error in it, it can screw up the whole thing...

Actually, I used a program to convert the vector .swf into an SVG, rather then trying to convert a high-quality bitmap, because that never works. I think I got the original shots from the N+ website and google images. Then I manually traced them in Flash, which unfortunately cannot export to SVG directly. I'll have the check the guass turret, because after looking at my version of it, the peculiar shape in the middle doesn't seem to be centered and I don't think that was intentional. Maybe it was.

EDIT: I checked the old SVG I exported, and there are some problems with it. The side parts of the thwump gradient are gone and there's gaps between the colours in the mine. I used a differenent program to convert to SVG, but Firefox interprets it as an XML file instead of an SVG o.O

OK, New idea. Let's see if Inkscape can import WMFs. All I want to do is convert a vector file to an SVG! Why must everything be so hard!

Yes it can, but it appears Flash exported a bunch of small lines instead of circles.... WHY?!? ;'(
But wait! No! Flash exported it correctly. Inkscape inported it incorrectly. It imported the SVG I converted correctly, though! Now I can fix up the little gaps in the mine.
This was a triumph!

New Idea: I'll make a flash program that lets you resize the drones and change the background. Then you can just screenshot the drones at whatever size you like. *sigh* Why must the world of file conversions be so darn difficult?

Well... I saw these straight lines when using the flash player... I flash can't read correctly a flash file, there is a problem...

I don't really need that.... I would prefer some originals shots of the XBLA N+

Because that's life! ;)

There are no straight lines. I redid my topic. Check out the Über size. That's how Flash renders it.

I zoom in to the max on flashplayer and see only perfect circles. What version of flashplayer are you using?

Sorry to say it, but I just discovered you could have saved a lot of time on the SVGs with few clicks.

If you load up the SVG I posted on the old forums, then select every inner object, go to transformations, and scale it by ~1%, you can fix all of the gaps without redawing the whole thing.

It"s possible.

Howerver, I prefer to completely redo it.

Why?

Because it's already 3/4 done!

A Force Field drone is one of the 3 new types of drones introduced to N+: Rotating Laser Drone, Ceiling & Wall Guards and the ForceField Drone. When the ninja gets close to the FF Drone it sends out a forcefield that the ninja cannot go through and must go around. I believe if you fall onto the forcefield it gives the ninja a boost much like hitting a launchpad when falling very fast (meaning the ninja doesn't die) and gives the lift of jumping off a bouncepad.

Anyway, it's one of the cooler additions to N+ and something we're all waiting for to be available in N, as it's already available in Nreality but Nreality is a bitch to code manually.
