I have to say, I really REALLY hate this new forum.
I just wanted to post the last updated pic.
Yeah, this place sucks, I'm gonna be hanging out on Numa from now on.

If you don't like the place, there's no need to be a dick about it.
On Topic: I don't really like that image much. Sorry.

Tbh, its not that good an image considering what could have been done with the concept. I liked the reasoning behind it, but the transparency seemed a little off for me. And so what if he doesnt like the forums?

Not meaning to be a dick, it's just that I'm a little depressed about the forum change.
Even though the critiscism was mildly negative, thanks for the feedback.

Well, since I created this thread, and it's about artwork, I'm recycling it. My latest scanned work...
(I'm gonna make the Hulk/Valkyrie pic part of my signature if I can)

Care to notice that is a picture of HITLER not me.
Fine I'll edit it, but FYI I'm not an anti-semite.
This one may seem a bit fanboyish, but at least it's well drawn.
EDIT:You might want to scale the A7X pic down to 50 at the zoom option at the bottom right side of the window.

These two are taken from my Deviant Art page, my monday & tuesday sketches for my art class.

Perspective seems slightly off in the Monday sketch.

Agreed, the shadow over the drawer was difficult but-- what the hell?? Can't I get any positive around here? No wonder I'm on DA more than I'm here now, you guys are pretty depressing.

Well DA has a certain back-patting pandemic, sure, if you think that positive then I guess you should cuddle up to it and breathe deep.
As for your art, I'm not sure what to suggest beyond practising as much as you can. I can't really make a judgement without knowing how long you've been drawing, how old you are etc..., but I can't see anything worth praising in particular here. If you're expecting people just to tell you your stuff is great, then stick with DA.
Addendum: I would try to concentrate on your perspective and proportions. They seem to be where your work is falling short the most. The perspective on the set of drawers is skewed and the aspect ratios of the speaker set are way off.

Look, I'm not asking you to drop the negative altogether, I'm just saying there's
absolutely no positive.
It seems like you're ignoring the details you
would like if you'd just pay attention to them.
I'm sure you can at least find something positive on the tuesday sketch at least, product placement aside.
Edit: Besides, you spelled
practicing wrong. It annoys the piss out of me, so if you could
please edit that.

Are you one of those "the whole world is America" people? Are you seriously *that* ignorant?
It's not that there's no positive, it's that very, very basic things that you could easily have fixed before you posted them here. See, you're not really that great of an artist, dude. I'm sorry.

practice noun
Do not confuse practice with practise. Practice is a noun meaning 'the action of doing something rather than the theories about it' (putting policy into practice), whereas practise is a verb meaning 'do something repeatedly to improve your skill' (they were practising for the Olympics). In American English, both the noun and the verb are spelled practice.

"The whole world is America people"? Let me reverse that question, are
you that ignorant?
As if I'd know what other people liked before I posted it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all I can see in you is that you're just another piss-ant trying to fit in with the most common opinion. I'm not just lashing out in insecurity,
I'm just saying one thing:
It's just a
SKETCH people, a
SKETCH. If you
want to see bad, which is what I sense that's all you all want to see, you should see the poor quality in the other guys
SKETCHES.
However I don't say anything about them since they're only
SKETCHES, or as the dictionary describes the word: A rough drawing.
At least Atob and Techno made a point. I'd say you're just making a mountain out of a molehill, if I could use the old cliche without making my teeth grind by using it.
I don't claim that I can extrapolate personalities from a single post, but you're just making yours obvious enough for some "the whole world is America" person like me to spit back in your face.

This is true, after having just looked it up. However I was just making a point, focusing on the negative that I see even if it was right, just like you were doing.

Neat images. They aren't broken. They are on paper and are made of a medium. There are flaws in the images which are not worth addressing. Keep up the work!
I'm stopping this thread altogether, which is what would have happened eight posts ago on the old forums. I'm supposing it's time to go back to our old ways, so we can help the angry people down from their soapboxes. After all, the old forums were perfect and the new forums are awful. (Geez, can't you just say something positive about the forums? I feel like you're only saying negative things.)
Sorry your experience here isn't exemplary. I wish I could alter the way everyone here thinks more quickly, so that they are sedate and opinionless all the time. My powers of suggestion work too slowly for this to occur. For now, let's try to focus on happy stuff while I foster goodthink and remove crimethink.
