Gameboy template

I am searching for ideas and suggestions.
I am going to give my gameboy a custom paint job, as soon as i can create a design for it.
I'm going to be using the above template that i made to design something for myself to recreate (paint) on my original gameboy case.
If anybody would like to sketch something up or design something i would be forever grateful.

I don't know what else to say but.. help?
Please?

I need ideas and i want it to be as BAMF as possible.
Here's a design i found that i quite admire, but i don't care what style it is as long as it looks great.

I know we have artistic people here, if you have something to say, don't be lazy, please take this little chunk of your day to help me because i'm desperate. Every little bit helps, i'll post something as soon as i have a first draft.

I had a go in paint: http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f103/ ... yrough.jpg

Drawing with a mouse is hell, I'll give it another go when I can print out the template.

I like the boom box idea and the face around the screen, but both could be done a lot better. Colour is also pimp.

PS - the lines on the speaker are supposed to be some kind of Equalizer, again with the mouse painting....

i like the mouth idea, but the rest doesn't really seem to go together
almost each section of the game boy generates a new theme

i also want to create a piece of art for the bumpy canvas on the back of the gameboy
but i will probably do that on my own once a theme has been set

Yeh, it's a collection of ideas to get you going much more than a full design. And as I said, I /really/ need to print these out first, drawing with a mouse is a ridiculous pain.

I'll work on the music themed idea a little, see if I can't get that more consistent for you. If you could provide a template of the back of the boy I'll have a go with that too.

I think i may just do it myself, and the back of the gameboy is pretty basic.
Here is what it looks like, designing something around the cartridge slot could be cool, but otherwise i was just going to put some abstract being below that.

I can't be bothered to create a template right now.

I think i might do bomberman for the buttons, then either an old looking computer or television set around the screen, but i'm still completely lost for what i want around the control pad, and the start select keys.

Another idea i had was to do a bears mouth for the screen and other woodland creatures (still have no ideas for d-pad or s&s buttons)

I like the mouth idea, and if only the cartridges were inserted via the bottom, I'd have an amazing idea for an anal violation theme.

I'd like to do something like this. Basically because I'm looking to make some chiptune music on my old Gameboy and want to make it look flash :)
