This week was all about Lens Flare and balloons. Everybody did an amazing job this week! Great work and I hope you all do well this round.

By the way, this next week, Round 9, is the final week so be sure to put your heart into the sigs you make. I have had a wonderful time making signatures with you all.

'Kay, well, I just thought I'd give some kudos to those I really liked. All of the ones from "Keep on looking" down to Naczz's one I thought were excellent.
I ended up voting for what I assume is Kami's one, with the hot air balloon. Even though the lens flare looked funny, the colours just really attracted my attention, and I thought it was amazing.

To the one under that, nice; again, I liked the colours, but there was a bit much red in the whole thing (for me, though I'm hypocritical in this regard).
Then, to "Keep on looking", this one's really cool. I liked the feel of the whole thing, and the colours didn't concern me. I reckon I'd put this in second place - not that I find anything wrong with it, I just preferred Kami's one because... well, not really sure why. Maybe I could relate to it more, but it was just preference, I guess.
And lastly for my comments, to Naczz. I liked the layout and colours of this one, and the light behind the puzzle pieces. In the end though, I found that the character and balloon were a bit blurry, and that's not exactly a lens flare. Still, though, cool.
EDIT: Also, to the one that's just been added (second from the bottom, I think), it's cool. I like the lens flare, though it would be cooler if it was on a layer behind the balloon (if it is, it doesn't look like it).

To the other three, now. Top one: Nice, but it all seemed a bit dark for me. I didn't get the same feel of joy that balloons and lens flares give in the other ones.
To the one below that: Nice... but small and almost as simple as my terrible entries. No lens flare either.
To the very bottom one: Funny, but I didn't really like how it was pixelled (though it was intentional, but it's just me).

Hope my comments are of.. well, perhaps not use, but appreciation.

This week was much less polarising for me. Number two, hands down. It was simple, used the lens flare effectively, and just didn't seem wanky like the rest of them.

Oddly enough, I think I liked 2 the most. mintnut's gorgeous work for kami takes a close second.

I voted for s'yzzI.

It has the best look, overall (I love the text)

1st one: too dark
2nd one: too small and simple
3rd one: don't like the balloon
4th one: My 2nd fav, although it was lens flared a bit too much.
5th one: I don't know why, it just didn't appeal me.
6th one: dislike the colors. The balloon kind of doesn't fit.

Mintnut's/Kami's and the lst one are amazing.

2nd one. Awwwww yeeeeah.

Who made the first one? That gets my vote. As usual, it was a tough call. Many good choices to be had here.

Southpaw's - purely on originality. Great use of lens flare and the rotation is a nice twist.

I didn't choose the Kami one because of the text. :()

And what's so amazing about #2? O_o
