Ah right yeah maya. I use 3DS Max. Here is a little render I did, complete with funky hair.
Yours is looking cool though, but you need a bit more light at the front so that you can see the face a little better. ;)

I assume the resemblance to wedgie would have otherwise detracted from the quality of it?

Well, I wouldn't be happy if something I did ended up looking like wedgie.

did you purposely leave the hair spiked, or have you not gotten around to weigh it down yet?? ... Nice effect though- the reason mine is still blue is because my mental ray (part of the program) that does the skinning is being complicated so for the time being i just used a UV template with ocean texture to it, i though it looked kinda neat so until i get it sorted out it will be blue.. but i will eventually get around to fixing the problem with the light, right not i didnt add any light so sorry its so dark, i will eventually get around to it. Hair has been in issue for me as well, every time i select where specifically i want it, it decides not to and just makes the entire thing hairy... Very odd looking if i may say so...

Haha yeah I've done that before. I just quickly added that hair for a laugh. I have messed around with styling the hair, but the main focus was on making the mask and then adding the map onto it.

i love rendering random things, its so... retardedly fun, theres just so much random stuff you can with to it...

... A more finished part of it, i just need to set up the bump map & skins... it may have been the way i set it up, but im not sure... everytime i go to move the nurbs it distorts the surface oddly, like the surfaces wont stay together... Ill work through it though. it irritates me though that you can see that much distortion. Hopefully when i go to skin it, that will fix it...now back to figuring out my face from earlier...

Thank you.. It certainly takes long enough for it though. Very fun though. Thats why i want to start getting into video game design... But anyways, thats why maya rocks.

*ERRG, i hate double posting*
But i've got a proposition or a question.. Not sure which to do... But here's it is.
I usually have time to spare randomly throughout the day & i need A LOT of practice with maya... So what do you guys think if i was to start on a new project staring everyone's favorite ninja?? It could be used for whatever, even web comics if you wish (i prefer the 2d version myself) but in any case. Do any of you have any suggestions or if i can ever get around to it requests. Because once i get the skeletal structure and skin for it, i can pose it anyway i want to...
so- should i go for the solid stick figure look?
What color should it be?
Should i do drones too? & which ones??
The list may go one. But please let me know if you think it would be a good idea or even worth the while. If not i wont worry about it then.

Do the Ninja interacting with NReality drones. The regular drones have been done already.
