Those drawings are good.
You definetly draw more than me and have therefore honed a very good style.
I should start again but I never have time.
I am not too good at faces and I don't draw from pics too much ( even though I know I should)
I will put mine up.. maybe, if my dad gives me the time.
carry on drawing. they are great.

If you feel that way, I am sincerely sad for the artistic world. Someone with your amazing talent should have devoted his life to art, because you're just so awesome, nay, awe-inspiring, emotion driving, amazingly well drawn portraits.
You have the potential to go down in fucking history.
I'm dead fucking serious.
Well, maybe that last statement was a little overboard. But you get the point.
You should SERIOUSLY consider a career in art, because if you can still do this, than you will make money. Notice, I said will. Hell, I almost fucking cried when I saw how awesome that rose one was.
You hear that?!
Cried.
I have this pathological need for more of your drawings, a deep craving that I haven felt about only two more things in my life, both of which I've devoted my life to. Well, maybe not one, since that's creepy. But that's irrelevant. I'm an artist, so i shouldn't be this emotional over someone else's art, but... Damn. I can't help it.
And I'm scared as fuck right now. O_o

please don't swear.
the funny thing is, I do artwork for three reasons:
1- I like to make people feel happy and this is my way of doing it.
2- I find it calming and enjoyable
3- I think something looks cool or will look cool so I draw it.
I did art at school and learned nothing, seriously, all I learned in the last five years at school was how to use pastels... and I have never used them since. (everything I do is self taught).
But at school they went on about emotions and stories and crap behind a painting, they got me to say why I drew what I did or how I think someone felt when painting. I nearly failed art last year because of my lack of ability to look past the subject matter, and my inability to recognise my emotions when drawing.
I drew because I wanted to, not because I felt angry or happy.
now this means that my talent only comes out if I am doing what I want to do, otherwise my drawing will come out crap.
so therefore I see that if I rely on my artwork as an income I will have to do what others want, or keep a steady flow of art, even if I don't want to draw.
I would love to make money from my art, but no way will it be my career.
possibly a side job... but don't count on it.
thanks for your compliments too!
hopefully you can see my reasoning.

Oh, I see the reasoning. That's why I feel so bad, since it actually makes sense.
Ah well. Please please please draw some more. You've got loads more talent than anyone I've ever seen. At least, off the top of my head.
Also, sorry about the swearing, I tend to do that when I get caught up in the moment, get to emotional over things. Sorry. I'll try not to, though!

You'd have to thank a girl I liked (I drew a picture of her) for getting me into art.
I used to enjoy art, but wasn't really that great till last year. About the only really good art I did before this was the dragon.
I had limited experience with girls, but I knew she'd apreciate some nice artwork... So onto facebook I went, found a random picture of a friend and sat Down and practiced... Boom, I realized by the end that the picture I formed was too good for the crap paper I'd used. So I drew it again, I still have the first copy. Scan upload email... Went a bit like this " hi, how's things been? I've been great, been drawing lots"... Showed her he picture...
She replied something like "awesome, when are you gonna draw me?"
Perfect!!!
Then out comes portrait no. 2...
She loved it...
Later I find out that she is somewhat of an artist herself,
So after some long chats about art, I find she is a lot more adventurous win mediums than I. I stuck to my graphite and wouldn't let go...
So yeah I pick up some new media and let myself go...
So here I am, still single but much more artistic...
And about the swearing... I know what it's like, I used to do the same, but I'm trying to stop swearing, it's damn hard, but I'm slowly getting there.
Thanks bru!
So I'll keep it up for ya.
Btw got deviant art?
If so zander-kun.deviantart.com

Mmm... I like how you said "its damn hard" in a sentence about you trying to stop swearing. Funny stuff.
But your story provides more insight into it as well. You should try expanding into different forms of strixtic mediums. I thought I wanted to be a graphic designer at one point. But, I picked up a camera just to see what it was like, and now photograph's my one try love. Well, there's always her...
But I digress.
You might be able to provide the same things with, say, paint, and find that you love it even more with the graphite you love so much, and are so fantastic with. I would love to see you try doing more paintings, though, those watercolors are great.
Though I do understand what you're saying about keeping it a hobby. If you do it for the money, it... Your work won't be nearly as good as when you were just doing it for fun, or for the thrill of it, or whatever.
It's funny, I want to talk about your art, I just don't know what to say. O_o.

@Tunco: Really? I thought that it was just something people didn't do, not that it was actually against the rules, or anything. Hm...

I think you should design a graphic novel and then have your friend colour it or something...
It doesn't really matter, but I loved the white-out one that you did and it looked like a great panel for a graphic novel type thing.

Thanks.
I'm thinking of making a site for my art, but I'm trying to figure out if I should just use my crappy site for artismic.
Hmmm, Ive been a fan of that picturefor a while, hence the painting and nart.
I like watercolors and find I can get them to do what I want, usually.
