I'm gonna have to agree with everyone else and say that 2 and 4 are my favorites. Most of the advice that I could think of has already been said, but good luck with your portfolio.

On a side note, I downloaded your EP a few days ago, and I'm impressed. Initially, my favorite song was Beats Like Hours, but I'm growing fond of all of them now. I'll be looking forward to any new music you put out.

Sorry I haven't updated here, I've been rather ill for the past few weeks and haven't felt like drawing much. I'll get back on it asap.

Only just started up again, been in bed ill for the last two weeks. I'm working on human shapes now, sketching life poses and translating into a more comic book style.

I'll update in a day or two with what I've come up with (having difficulty with some of the proportions at the moment, it's been a while since I've drawn the human figure). Here's a tiny snippet for the moment.




Again, very basic. I'm working on base layers and little detail just to get the shapes right. Got myself some fineliner pens too, much better to work with.

i don't like that nearly as much as any of the others.. but it's more because of personal tastes. ..... can't really explain it all too well, i just enjoy the fantasy creatures a lot more.

Well, I'm working on both. My human figure drawing is really lacking though, so it's something I'll need to concentrate on for a while.

far out. same here. i can't get much better than a stick figure. though i'm not too good at all at the moment with portraying anything other than shapes . I'm determined though. I'm pretty creative though. i just can't seem to develop any ideas, and then if i do they are beyond by ability in painting or whatever. so i suppose i need to think up simpler things.

My original set of monster sketches are being completely re-done from scratch, too. I'll have them up in a few days.

Are those barnacles attached to the monster? Cool! I think I preferred the smoothness of some of the older ones personally, but it definitely works. Liked the face, but the arms didn't look particularly convincing imo.

Thanks. the entire thing needs work done to it, the arms, the legs, everything. Like I said, it's a quick idea. I'll work on it.

How about some of the previous ones? I'm quite pleased with the Alien picture and it seems to have been ignored.

This would probably be my favorite out of the old ones, except maybe that cute one you used as an avatar for a while. The alien looks great; not sure about the text font and red background but the image itself is great. Kudos.

I agree. The background and text were afterthoughts, really. Again, I'd like to work on a more thematic backdrop but I tend to get bored/impatient with these things before they're fully done. I suppose that's something I should fix if I've any hope of getting anywhere with this.
