If you want to try and add some more color yourself, by all means be my guest. I'd welcome some help.
That's cool. I'm just telling you my view on the matter.

Yeah. Pembie's coding it now, so all I need to do is fix up the rounded edge cap thingies for him. You do need to change your read/unread icons for some more contrast, though.

It's a lot better than what we have now, but maybe too much like the last forums layout?

Yeah I was going to say that Pembs would code it for you as he was offering me the same service yet I haven't finished :P

I'll post my original design up at the moment that I showed some of you on IRC (In my own thread of course) but that will be tweaked considerably.

Right.

Also, I edited the skin in the topic just a bit to fix some alignment and color issues. :D

That is very sexy...it has the nice homely feel that the old frum had that I feel this one is missing.

If integrated, I wouldn't be suprised if it became the most used skin.

If skins are still an important issue, here's another of incluye's drafts which I personally prefer.

Looks quite well done, but the width? Is it going to be like m9orange and Hermes, or like the narrow Chrome?

That.
Also, it actually looks like a blog skin, imo. Anyway, great skin.

I think it is going to be like m9 and Hermes.

You should continue doing this.
