Need for an animating program that creates GIF files

I have two frames I would like to use to animate my avatar. But with my current animating progam, the second frame gets corrupted when I save it and it screws everything up. Could anyone suggest an animating program for mac that can save in GIFs?

if you have flash, you can use that... you just export as movie and select file type as gif sequence...
