artistic Inspiration/references for these themes?

I need some artists/artworks to use as inspiration/references for these 4 themes:

1. the comparison of reality and the artificial

2. personal identity (Focusing on the different masks we wear in different situations)

3. the visual similarities between things, especially by showing something in place of something else
(i.e in Magritte's 'The Rape' [http://www.shafe.co.uk/crystal/images/ls… I believe this was one of the themes surrealists explored, but I can't remember any other examples, so more would be good, especially more playful examples)

4. artists/artworks that comment on surveillance, being watched without knowing.
