Who is your favorite game developer?

Who is yours? I'd say mine would be in between Id or Valve. Both made great games, like Half-life, Doom, Quake, etc.

Bungie (Halo: Combat Evolved), Ubisoft (Beyond Good and Evil), Konami (Metal Gear Solid), and Metanet (Exactly!).

Valve rocks my casbah.
Ubisoft is also one of my favorites, provided they find more sane ways of combating piracy.

I've not got into Valve yet. I used to play CS a lot - and HL2 was awesome - but I need to upgrade my Pc before I start to take advantage of Steam properly. No doubt they'll be up there when I do.

For anyone who expressed like for Valve or id, you can buy every game they've ever made on Steam right now for 100$ and 70$ respectively. (This includes Left 4 Dead. Which is totally sweet.)
