It's also based off a novel and a good time killer, for some reason though I find it extremely addictive. I played consecutively for about 5-6 hours(:]) without realizing it until I stopped playing and thought about it. Although it can be frustrating at times with some enemies having x-ray and/or thermal (neither are supposed to happen) and sometimes throwing knives (a one hit kill) just bounce off and accomplish nothing other than making you look stupid. But the whole having to scavenge for ammo was, I wouldn't say it was fun in itself it was more the result. With ammo being scarce you would sometimes have barely enough ammo to kill the guys in the next room. The aboveground ground textures were pretty bad but if you allow the game to pull you in I find it's easy to ignore, unless you walk around looking at the ground. Underground the cities are extremely immersive and add a great emotional effect. Pumping the pneumatic weapons also makes the that mush more believable. I didn't have the same problems with the human AI as described in the GT review although they never really manage to run away from grenades. I haven't beaten it yet so if you have don't spoil it.

Edited the topic name.

Yeah this game is awesome, I played through it over two days. Pro-tip when you get to the infinitely spawning blobs of death, you can destroy the spawners, the game just doesn't tell you you've hit or that it's even hostile. There's two endings but you can just reload to the last little segment before you make that choice.

Also fuck the achievement for killing every enemy in the front lines level or whatever, I spent two hours looking around for every dude and I still didn't get it.

Harsh.
I don't think I'll be getting this game. Clueless human AI is a dealbreaker for me.

I found that the human AI wasn't as bad as they described, the only thing that happened to me that they said was that they fail to run away from grenades and you can only have 5 so it's not to bad actually. I found they loved to shoot almost as if they all had auto snipers with thermal sights sometimes. It could get annoying.

I never had an issue with the AI.

There's a set route involving a jump puzzle and some other stuff. I sprinted through the entire level.

Yeah if your equipment settings are on circular hold Y and they are at the very bottom.

Point being I completed the game without using a single grenade.

I've been reading the comments under the GT review and it looks like the shoddy AI may have been patched since they got their hands on it. Lots of people stating they'd never had a single problem in game.

Had a quick look for patch notes but couldn't find any before I grew bored.

Game doesn't get me excited; I've too much Starcraft to play anyway.

I'll let you know when I buy it. I don't like RTSs so I had to try it first and spent the entire day playing through the campaign.

I want online, so it'll get bought asap.
