Is it just me? Or have alot of the games on Steam gone up in price?

I seem to recall that mass effect 2 was $50 before and now it's $70.
Red Faction Guerilla seems to have also gone up.
Am I crazy or right?

*Edit* When was COD6 $90?

They seem to be at their all-time-normal price, I don't know what's wrong with (your) Steam.

You live in Australia. That basically means you get royally boned on all things video game related. (Way delayed releases, higher prices, your system's lack of a rating equivalent to 'mature' making it so games have to be altered to be approved (Valve had to cut down the violence in L4D2 to get it released there))

On realising that the download is an enormous 5GB I figured I'd wait until the end of the month praying that my quota (8GB) was not yet filled. The question is, it now says Portal is on my account, will it go away on May 24th because I didn't download it?
You clicked on some kind of "Buy" button, albeit for $0, right? So long as you confirmed the "purchase", you should be able to postpone downloading it indefinitely. At least, it's worked plenty of times for me when I bought games on sale but put off downloading them for whatever reason.

Yeah it isn't a free weekend or something, it's legitimately free forever for anyone who adds it to their account. Also 8GB a month? I downloaded 250GB over the past two weeks or so (Albeit this was exceptional circumstances of installing every one of my steam games).
