Yeah, an MMO Shoot-em-up style game that recently went into open beta for North America.

It's kind of like those old arcade games where you're a ship at the bottom shooting up at aliens/other unidentifiable pixel things all Space Invader style, except an MMO and an RPG, and just... freaking amazing. I didn't believe it could be any good either--hell, the quest text is written in some kind of painful chinglish and it's pretty unpolished-- but a friend of mine convinced me to try it out and this thing has me hooked good.

So why am I advising you to play a game written in chinglish with graphics a few steps above runescape that's only in open beta and only has one server and is so small it doesn't even yet have a gamefaqs page? Good lord, the gameplay is some of the most fun I've had in years, and I can't for the life of me explain why, other than the strangest kind of rush you get when playing with four other people and there's shit flying at you from every corner. I'm pretty bad at explaining things like this, so when you have an hour or two free, summon some patience and just go for it.

(Also, when you find out what the Stamina system is, you're going to think "What the hell were those developers smoking?" but it's not as bad as it seems at first glance.)

Wow. Thanks for telling me! Ever since STC mysteriously disappeared, I haven't been able to find out anything about shmups.
