Tell me if I've forgotten any games, or if you think any should be taken out of the poll.
Just want your opinion on what you would think be the Game of the Year.

Batman Arkham Asylum, for sure. Unless you forgot a game from this list.

Oooh, I've been wondering if that game was good. Since you like, chances are I will too.SlappyMcGee wrote:Batman Arkham Asylum, for sure. Unless you forgot a game from this list.
I'm not voting till the end of the year. If I had to choose, though, it would have to be Team Fortress 2.

I'm more excited for the C&C4 -which is the last one in the series- which will be out in first quarter of 2010.Ackmest Dansam wrote:I... Hate... You...Tunco123 wrote:Halo 3. I hate Batman.
Add GH5 to that list. And Wolfenstein. LF, I barely like the movie, except the amazing performance of Heart Ledger.

C&C4 does look awesome (Although story wise kinda messed up with the allies randomly using walkers again). Also what the hell? It's based on the comic series not the god damn movies. It's got the proper (not saying the dark knight joker was bad) crazy joker in it as well.

I'm confused. Surely you're not implying that the Dark Knight Joker was un-crazy?Ackmest Dansam wrote:It's got the proper crazy joker in it as well.

No he was still crazy but he was more serious, his biggest gags seemed to be him telling random stories of how he got this scar and "why so serious) while THE Joker's entire arsenal is gags. Gas that makes you get stuck in a smile, guns that have a bang flag then the flag shoots at you, industrial strength hand buzzers, you get the idea.Wight wrote:I'm confused. Uncharted 2 surely has this, hands down.

Me. And, no. Super Mario Bros. is an awesome game, but the graphics and controls are not for Wii. I mean, story mode is more likely to play a while, but I gave up at the Big Maze. :/Ad wrote:Oh, wait, no. Super Mario Bros. Wii, anyone? =D
Though, graphics for Wii, is just not for that game, you know, that was what I exactly thought after 2 weeks I bought the game.

The Dark Knight Joker had no gags; the humorous part of the movie, as related to him, was for the purpose of making you laugh and then wondering why the hell you were laughing at what was happening onscreen (the whole blowing-up-the-hospital-and-Joker-walks-out-with-a-nurse-outfit-on thing was an example) which were an altogether more serious affair.Ackmest Dansam wrote:No he was still crazy but he was more serious, his biggest gags seemed to be him telling random stories of how he got this scar and "why so serious) while THE Joker's entire arsenal is gags. Both you guys ought to watch the 1966 Batman (with Adam West!). The Joker in that is probably the opposite of the Dark Knight: Joker.

Mark Hamill is the best Joker. Most of the iconography and sounds (laughter, voice) we associate with The Joker comes from the popular (and properly, genius) television series Batman: The Animated Series.

And to save you time, Mark Hamill is an accomplished voice actor. That's where he's been since Star Wars, mostly.Wight wrote:watSlappyMcGee wrote:Mark Hamill

The poll is missing Borderlands, let me fix that....there we go.

Thanks. It's hard to keep track of all the games not only coming out this year, but from the year in all. It's been a great year in gaming.Snuggletummy wrote:The poll is missing Borderlands, let me fix that....there we go.

Replace "wat" with "Wait, Mark Hamill was a Joker? I thought Star Wars was his moment of fame. He's a voice actor now? That's crazy." A lot of the content of my posts goes unsaid, which kind of defeats the purpose of posting in the first place.
