Anyone play it for the ps3? Leave your PSN! also general discussion I suppose :x

CoD 5 is teh SH*T!!! I played it so much, however, that the heat sink in mah PS3 melted (we think) and now there's nothing left in there to absorb the heat before the fan kicks in. Whenever I turn it on, it kicks itself off within five minutes.

But anyways, yes, I do love and play(ed) the game on the PSN. My account name is in mah sig.

oh damn that sucks... tell me if your ps3 ever gets fixed :P

My mom tells me that there are no shipping fees, but to get it fixed, you have to send it to them with $150, and if they are unable to fix it, they'll send me a new one, which will totally suck a*s cuz I'll have lost all my data and achievements. I guess I'll just have to do odd jobs till I raise enough money.

If it's turned off just take the HDD out and put it back in when the consoles fixed, It should work.

They won't take it if it's not completely intact.

I got back into 5 a lot more recently, but I've had to give up on it again because it annoys the shit out of me. The spawning is terrible, the hit counters are terrible. It just isn't fair. Not because I'm not as good as everyone else, but because it's the game itself that screws me over. I get spawned into an almost instant death the majority of the time on the smaller levels. The last stand perk seems to make the person 'invincible' for a split second as they fall, which pisses me off when I'm stood over someone with an lmg without taking my finger off the trigger and yet they can spin around and kill me with a pistol, even while I'm still shooting at them from the first shot that hit them. I'm fed up with treyarch trying to push the new map packs by lining you up to play levels that you don't have, only to get kicked after waiting because you don't have the map. If I don't have the map pack then stop trying to put me in to play that map. I'm not going to fucking buy it.
I gave it another go, but it was inevitable that it was going to return to the shelf and be replaced by cod 4.
It's potentially a good game, it's just a pity that there are so many things that ruin it.

I find that the nazi zombies has limited playback value though. It gets a bit boring after a while. Especially since surviving for a decent amount of rounds will have you doing the same gameplan each time. There is only so long that you can shoot at a never-ending supply of zombies imo. Good fun, but limited fun. Just bring on mw2 already.

If you're getting bored of Nazi Zombies, you don't have the mappacks. So worth it xD

Imma save my money for MW2 I think. It seems stupid to spend more money on a game that annoys me.

I already reserved a copy... Can't wait :x
