What is the best shooter game ever?
Personally, I like Half Life 2 and GoW 2.

Watching my brother play Bioshock is enough to convince me that it has some of the best single player gameplay ever.

Call of Duty 4.
Crysis was good, but my game keeps bugging out and I've never gotten past that exosquid thing. And BioShock was awesome... but CoD4 is everything you could want in a game.

Crysis is amazing, but like Hoch, is buggier than hell, which is why I want Crysis Warhead. Now, if you want to know my personal favorite shooter, Doom 1 and 2. Best FPSs ever created.

CoD4, as well as Team Fortress 2. Both are excellent and unique experiences in multiplayer action. As far as single player goes, probably Half Life 2.

Battlefield: Bad Company is a severely underrated game, full of extreme amounts of AWESOME.
Apparently, this is the first time a Battlefield series has an actual campaign. The coolest thing about this game, though. is the destrutable envirnments. Keep in mind, though, that you can only reduce them to their skeletons, but it's still pretty darn fun. For instance, once, I was being pinned down by a .50 .cal. So, I flanked him, blew a hole in the wall, and shot theh living daylights out of him. Also, though I've never tried this, the multiplayer matches are like this without ever clipping, framerate drops, etc. I'm not sure though.
All in all, the game is freakishly awesome, and I would reccomend it to anyone. I won't divulge any further, but if you need any help with the gold locations or collectable items, just let me know.
