I remember when I was about 9, I had this for the PS1, and my mate had it for the PC. I was so envious of him, it was so much better on the PC, mainly because you could customise everything. *Downloads*

We're all playing this game again. It'd be a good one to DL if you wanna get back in on the action.

Aw, man. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN. No way. :(

Actually, I might be getting my computer fixed in some way at some point over the next week or so, so I'll try see if I can switch the video card out as well. That, or I'll see if I can get my 1968 vintage laptop to get some kind of decent W:A performance going.

It starts with some bad color behaving for me, but when I actually start playing it, those things disappear, and it all goes normal again!

I <3 you.

Oh, hot damn, it's been so long since I've played.

I wonder if I can still achieve a time of 13 minutes on the Crazy Crates time trial.

If you want the beaten game and the voice files we made for it, ask me about it on IRC or something. I zipped them all up so you can get all of our old presets and stuff.

Really a blast from the past. Also, hilarious Dave voice clips for worms.

By the way, if you do install it, install the latest patch, 3.6.29.0, found here. They've updated some of the experimental TestStuff options (if you don't know what that means, don't worry about it, just install it).

Batty ropes is a good mod!!!

Hmm... I think we all have x.28.0, but I'll update to see what the new stuff is.

I guess it doesn't really matter; the ones who have .29 will just be emulating .28, thanks to the backwards compatibility.

Also, a TF2 spy soundbank for your enjoyment: Click

Will this run on a computer with no 256 colour support (maybe the patch allows it)? My old worms world party doesn't work because of ati's lack of backwards compatibility :(

Ah man, I just deleted all my W:A stuff just a few days ago since I've not used it in about a year. I will have to re-download it if you guys are getting back into it. ^_^

Seriously, though, can we just not link to the download here? Anyone can ask for it on the IRC, but I'd rather not have Johnny Law breathing down our necks so's you guys can get your 2D Worm fix.

It should be known that the staff does not condone software piracy by the means described here. Use of richly featured bittorrent clients such as Azureus in conjunction with firewalls specifically designed to help you get away with illegal piracy such as Peer Guardian to download games for free online is a scourge. We are willing to take immediate administrative action for even suggesting software or media piracy, which includes but is not limited to permanent bans, looking at you sternly, and averting our gaze with fingers in our ears going "la-la-la-la-la."

So let's play some Worms!

Haha.

Alright. If it's an issue, I'll break the links.

Buy Worms Armageddon, everyone! Just like the rest of Metanet did!

Nevermind, Anyway I'm really sorry for putting this up. Next time, though, I wont be recommending games for fear that this will happen again.

Been a long time since I pulled my copy out. The last time I seriously played it was two computers ago, good times.
