Why we are six times the men the are:


1) Who the shit cares about what processor you have? Apparently, you do, since you have an avatar devoted to it. I mean, what? Who cares? This is somehow the least ridiculous part of you.

2) This was on a Left 4 Dead forum. Thank god he had Left 4 Dead in his signature. Otherwise, people wouldn't have known he shares a mutual interest. That's like having a signature about pies in the pie forum. It isn't even customized, for chrissakes'.

3) There are a few things wrong with this.
a) those specs are ridiculous. Six gigs of ram is so hyperbolic in its nature that there's no way you can be using that much.
b) Rig? Who the fuck calls a PC a "rig"?
c) It is a little tired to have your "specs" for your "rig" in your "sig" on a gaming forum.

4) This post is friggin' ridiculous. The guy shoots down somebody else's mapwork in this game and then writes "jk" as if that negates what you originally wrote. If you don't mean it, don't write it, you dumbass! Furthermore, he joined this forum literally two days ago, and yet he already has begun to refer to this community as "we". Plus, lolling your own jokes is ridiculous.

Rig is a well used English slang term for a computer system. Almost every computer tech I know refers to their systems in this way.

Then you must know only a minority because none of the pc students or tech guy's I know calls it that.

a) 'rig' is used in place of 'computer' quite often
b) DAAAMM that guy spent a lot of cash on his computer, in the last month no less, all those parts are top of the line and brand new (although I will agree, 6gb of RAM is ridiculous, however there is a half logical explanation, Intel's Core i7 (yes, its called i7, why the fuck) platform uses a triple channel memory controller, as opposed to a dual channel that most computers have. Most people install RAM sticks in pairs, this is because of the dual channel thing, on a triple channel you install RAM in sets of 3, hence 3x2gb (although 3x1 would have sufficed))

6GB RAM is fine. he probably should have had 3GB of 1600 MHz, but whatever. i have 6GB of RAM. it's not that strange. and all the geeks i know (myself included) refer to rigs as....rigs. i don't see that much wrong with that post.

Independent of that, he continues to be absolutely ridiculous.

Also, Rigs is a stupid term. It is. I don't care how many people use it. It'd be like calling glasses, "Wroughtminders". What the fuck, right?

And 6gb is extravagant, but sa's explanation makes me feel better about it.
