Who here has it? How often do you play? Are you good?

Personally I play a lot. On average I can AA any song on its hardest setting. I play mostly for fun, but I count it as excersize. :D

I AAA'd "eun deux trois" on Heavy last week! Best day of my life!

I'm not a DDR ALL DAY sorta guy, but when the occasion comes, I could give anyone a good whoop.
It's probably just because none of my friends are any good.
But still, I'm pretty decent. Not the best, but decent.

The game itself is too addicting to stop once you start. The only way you could stop is if you're playing at an arcade of some sort, and you run out of money. Otherwise, it's DDR till you drop. At least that's how it is for me.

i tried it once with somebody, co-op style in the arcade.

One of us had to control the top half of both player's arrow mats, and the other had to cover the bottom. this was achieved by jumping wildly from pad to pad in an effort to stomp the buttons correctly, all the while keeping our eyes on the screen an dnot running into each other.

eventually an arcade guy told us to stop screwing around.

I completely and utterly fail at DDA. Hell, last time I played it I sprained my ankle by falling off of the machine.

Not being the athletic sort, I find that DDR requires me to expend too much energy to be viable in a social setting. No one likes a skinny, sweating, DDR nerd.

I love playing DDR, so much that I purched a dance pad and about 4 games. I'm also really, really, really good, even though I've only AA'd one song on Supernova 2. I play at arcades and people gather around the machine to watch. It's funny.

That happens to me too. xD

One time a got a croud of japanese people that would cheer and clap every time I finished a song. But I dont like arcade as much because I'm too used to lightly touching the dance pad rather then pounding the machine.

Also what type of pad do you have? I have a $50 Red Octane pad, I strongly recommend it.

I've never tried DDR, but I am one hell of a Stepmania fan. I waltz with my fingers.

It's a pity they don't have anything like that on the Wii. I'm quite eager to play the real thing.

I have this type of pad with about an inch of foam in the bottom, so it feels like an arcade pad, but it's more sensitive

I believe they have two DDR's for the Wii...

They play differently because the Wii one uses the Wiimote and the pad. Certain steps require you to flick the wiimote or something like that. I dont know if its optional so Im not buying it.

After a few days or a week or two, I can beat most in most games like DDR that require more than average physical activity (Guitar Hero, DDR, etc.).

I used to have DDR, but my mom spilled shock (That stuff you put in a pool) on it. XD
