I'm really good at taking out snipers with it actually. The thing is, I have a love for things that arc in games, like grenades and such. I can even tell where my shots are going to hit without firing a shot. Anyway, the main reason I love the Huntsman is the ability to pin people to walls, and it does a really decent amount of damage.Tsukatu wrote:Mmkay.atob wrote:Well, yes. They're projectiles, so you have to lead them just like other projectiles (rockets, needles, nades, etc..). Predicting your shots can be a little offputting at first, but if you play with it enough they'll start coming more naturally. They did for me, at least.Tsukatu wrote: Do you have to lead your shots, or what?
It's GREAT for CQC and mid-range, but nest to useless for anything moving fast at long.
The biggest tip I can give is that you don't always have to pull the string back, for close to mid you can just tap m1 and let off a weaker, but still accurate at that range, shot. If you hold it down too long, you'll notice the Sniper's hand starts to shake, if you let this happen, the shot will fly wild.
So it's pretty much useless for sniper fights unless you can guess when they're going to pop out?
Also, about fire arrows, when the sniper has his bow drawn, and the pyro shoots him with the flamethrower (Has to be an allied pyro) the arrow will light on fire.
