GRID has achievements?

See, I'm still at the point where I consider finishing at +30 seconds an accomplishment.
My best game remains the time I was so far behind that I started driving backwards and DNF'd three of my competitors before limping through my final lap to finish 9th (out of 12).

Really? Wow, GRID's achievements and how to get them can be found here
Well, of course you know there are Achievements but meh. :) Maybe it helps... Site offers Achievement guides for all games, quite handy.
I use it alot for strategies.

I'm really proud of achievements like Full Rep and Sunday Drivers and more of the harder ones, but then again,
I also have all 44 Achievements on Assasin's Creed, and All offline Achievements on Burnout Paradise...
Building up to 2595 GS after 3 games.

But tbh, Achievements like High Mileage and Full Rep were more annoying then fun.

You kids and your achievements. I'm all "Hmm, can I be bothered creating a Live account and signing in? ...Nah."

Anyway, I just bought Company Of Heroes. Seems OK so far, although the fact that it asks me to sign in to Relic's online system every time the game starts up - which I refuse to do - fills me with rage. I haven't even tried playing online. Stop bothering me.

Burnout does that too, every time you start up the game it goes like "Online is awesome, pay your ass of now!", very annoying.
But I do like the achievements though, feels good to get a 100% kinda idea. Anyways, we're getting off topic.

I like achievements when, you know, you achieve something. Like team fortress 2 achievements. I've played games on the xbox where you get Gamer Points for starting a new game. :/

I play on Steam, and Steam doesn't list any achievements for the game. :(

Heh, I don't know, I've gotten a number of the TF2 achievements I have now through sheer accident. Some of the spy ones, for example: Wet Work, Identity Theft, Counter Espionage, Spies Like Us, The Melbourne Supremacy, Die Another Way (and that was the first time I found out what a Razorback does)... hell, I even got FYI I Am A Spy by accident. :p

I think that's the fun part of TF2 achievements. You don't have to focus on getting them. Just play the game and as you get into the trickier stuff, you get achievements.

I like the achievements in shadow complex, there are the 4 generic ones (melee 5 dudes, head shot 50 dudes, make 100 dudes scream and kick 20 little robots) but there are also some true achievements (complete the game with 100% of the items, same but with 14% or less, run accross the big lake, beat the proving grounds).

These days, mainly Quake Live (which I'm terrible at), and some Operation7.
La Mulana doesn't work well with Vista, so I can only play it on my netbook. D:

I just realized that La Mulana works fine with Vista SP2. So once again I'm trying to beat Hell Temple (the 120000 sign is the only thing left for me to do).
Edit: Whoa, La Mulana runs way faster on my new computer. That also means it's way harder. :[

Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo.

Amazing. Can't get enough. The full game is out on October 13th. Want to see how good this game is? Right here. 97 on Metacritic after 28 reviews. Although it has to compete with a high profile title like Modern Warfare 2 that comes out on November, I think it could pull off Game of the Year for 2009.

Seriously. Go read/watch some of those reviews. If you need a really good reason to buy a PS3 (there's already a list of them), this would be it.

Resident Evil 5 (PS3), stuck at the end of episode two, to finish it, I should find a key to a door, inside a small-demolished town, full of zombies
-obviously- and running away from the main boss, the one with a chainsaw.

The worst part of this level is once the chainsaw-guys hits you, you're dead. :/ Pretty fun game, I love the controls.

Wha? I nearly spent all my ammos to kill that guys, he just doesn't die.

Well, I think I needed headshots. :/ Though, you own that game? If you did, did you finished it?

I've rented it twice (On PS3 and 360, once each) and completed it both times. It's not that hard, just shoot him a little, run away, shoot him some more, run away and repeat that sequence. Also there's like an electrical box at the top of a power pylon, shoot it to knock it down and when he goes near it shoot it again.
