What server is everyone using? I'm having trouble connecting to common servers like the Netbattle registry and the Smogon server. Might this be an issue with my firewall ports, or something else?

Edit: I don't think it's on my end, as ShoddyBattle allows me to see/connect to servers without a problem.

That's odd, because I had just uninstalled 1.041 and installed 1.042, and I still couldn't connect. What server did you connect to after installing 1.042? Maybe I should just try another uninstall/reinstall.

I think we're using the main Netbattle server, pmnb.net or something like that. I had some issues connecting also, but George fixed it up for me. I'd recommend you get in touch with him.

Aside from unblocking the program in Windows Firewall, you'll need to connect via the 'Advanced Connect' button. Enter server 'nb.pmnb.net'. You'll find that the registry is down pretty often. Gimme a holler if you have any further troubles.

George, you're the man; I've got it working now. Anyone up for a battle? My team is pretty much a rough draft. Would be awesome to tune up for the competition.

Edit: I've added [Mn] in front of my name. I suggest others do the same. That way, if someone's looking for a match, you only need to look in one spot to find all the Metanetters who are signed on.

Alrighty, lets get this started! The tournament will be completed over twelves rounds: nine rounds of League competition and three rounds of finals competition. Communist hasn't been able to feed me his status, so I'm assuming he won't be able to participate.

By now I hope you've all got your Netbattle programs configured and a team to battle with. Don't worry if you haven't perfected your party Pokemon yet. There are no penalizations for team changes between rounds. Here are this week's matchups.

Round One

2. KinGAleX Vs natures_peril
3. Drathmoore Vs Chase
4. spoon Vs aapse
5. GTM Vs Pheidippides
6. toasters Vs PALEMOON

As a reminder, each round is played to the best of three matches. You can either PM the score to me, or better yet, post the results in this thread. I'll collate the results at the end of each round and post them up.

Get in contact with your opponents as soon as you can to get your matches underway! Please conduct your matches and submit your results by next Saturday, June 20th!
