None of those are legendaries. Tyranitar and Metagross are pseudo-legendaries but aren't true legendaries because they can be bred and caught more than once.
Mmmkay.

Man, I remember when I first got Blue. I loved it so much, that after I beat it, I would restart and choose a new starter pokemon. I've got diamond and would be happy to WiFi anyone. The only problem is, I've been focusing more on the battle tower, so I only have three decent pokemon.

Well after you get the National Dex in Platinum they'll be roaming Sinnoh ready to be caught. Just go talk to Oak first. Not Lugia though.

Man, in Pokemon Red and Blue, I'd raise a Haunter to level 100 and then just use hypnosis and dream eater. Worked every time.

I remember all of that, i still play actually, i've completed the entire 'dex for Ruby, Blue, Pinball and FireRed. I absolutly cried for like 3 days after i lent my FireRed (with a complete Pokedex) and he traded it for Kirby Squeak Squad. I've been playing all the games i have left like, daily.

I have every type of berry that you can get in Emerald and Ruby (without paying extra or that stuff) including the Liechi Berry. I have a total of 57 Lv.100s. I have a pretty exact playtime of 576hours 42min (damn long) I've beaten the Battle Tower 12 times on Lv100 and 23 times on Lv50 (I'm still talking about Ruby). I have 3 Milotics, 2 Kyogre, all of the Legendary Birds (including Lugia and Ho-oh)(my friend was in New York at the Time, so he brought my game there...

And I might go on about my achievements/obsession in a later post, so I gonna talk on how awesome these games are.

Firstly, the original three games (RBY) were completely awesome, but they completely lacked the features that they included in the Third Gen., like running, that thing you can do with the select button, breeding, pokerus, etc. It also had the mistake, MissingNo, although it was a completely great part of the game, i made the mistake of letting my curiosity take the better of me, and i caught it with my one and only Master Ball, so it completely screwed me up just before i decided to attempt to catch Mew, so that sucked.

Then, GSC (Second Gen.) was better, the select button thingy came in very handy especially with the bike, the Bug Catching Comp. in I think in the Azalea area was just perfect. I caught a Scyther or maybe it was a Pinser on my first try. They also included berries and put in the original 8 gyms in the beginning so everything just got longer and longer. I enjoyed the introduction of Shiny Pokemon and how they had a slight advantage against Normal pokemon. The Sudowoodo problem in where you had to sprinkle it with water killed my interest for like 2 months and i hated getting to the 5th gym. What i liked best about these ones are the (i think it happens in this game), that after you beat the Elite Four once they get stronger. They also did this in FireRed and LeafGreen so i'm partially confused. I just think this game could have surpassed what it had been if they added what i've said earlier. But also, this generation gave me no motivation to play any longer after beating the Elite Four a few times. Its just like in Super Mario Galaxy where you can battle Bowser when you get your 60th star thingy. But after that, there is absolutely no motivation (maybe except for boredom) to continue and get the remaining 60 to unlock Luigi. I have 119 stars but that doesnt make much difference, because i'm trying to state that this game was boring after that.

But RS(E) was so much better. Mainly because it had what i've said in earlier paragraphs and also because you can see the Picture of the pokemon in the party menu instead of some plant thing etc. They Made some improvement in the Battle Tower (i'm talking about Ruby and Sapphire, note that Emerald is in brackets above because it is absolutely completely different than Ruby or Sapphire). I enjoyed the Trickster dude's challenge and the secret base and link system part so much. But one thing that stands out from the other earlier two generations is that you dont get to name the guy that you find and battle every two gyms so that you cant name them some thing bad like ... yeah. FR and LG (FireRed and...) made that mistake all over again. The Houen Pokemon was probably the best additon to the Poke World. And unlike the no motivation part in the last generation ive noticed, is that there are like so many things to do after beating the Elite Four (still talking about Ruby and Sapphire) like the Contests (i haven't gone though them all), battle tower, the Trickster dude, breeding, Latios/Latias, the Regis (Regice, Registeel, Regirock) safari zone, and all that other stuff.
Then there was Emerald. A giant addition to the already awesome generation. There's the pretty obvious Battle...*what do you call it?* with the Battle Pyramid, Tower, Arena, Temple, etc as well as the Artistian Cave. There's also Berry Crushing, and the chance to capture both Kyogre and Groudon and the choice between Latios or Latias, i hated the costume change from Ruby/Sapphire to Emerald, but the involvement in BOTH Magma and Aqua's affairs was awesome and once again the secret base part was cool. They also put in individual move tutors like the one above Lilydale Department Store who would teach you Substitution, or the one in front of Mauville Gym who taught rollout, the chance to get both fossils, the final Battle against Steven (and his Lv 80s), and much much much etc more.
One thing i forgot to mention is the double battle feature and the Battle Tower-ish thing in Emerald, where you run around and stuff.

Then the Fourth Generation (DP (and soon to be adding Platinum)), i dont have either of the games so i cant talk about that much, but the pokemon, including the starters look like shit excluding the starters. They're supposed to look either cute and cuddly or friggin' ugly and dangerous, not ugly and harmless. I hated it when i went to my friend's house. But i haven't played though it completely, so i can say much

Then come the ones that don't really go with the storyline. XD and Gale of Darkness and Battle Revolution sucked cowpies, Pokemon Box and the one for the N64 stunk, sadly, most of them stunk IMO except for Pinball and Puzzle League for both but i wont get much in depth in those.

For the most part, i loved the Pokemon show. I watched it faithfully on YTV everyday from the first episode 'till they removed it from the program (once again) on the saturday 1pm slot to make room for dinosaur king(crappy show).

Of the pokemon movies, i've watched all of them up till Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. Awesome movie, just should have been longer.

I loved all the theme songs for pokemon but i absolutely adore the 2nd verse of the first theme. (The one that starts "I wanna be the very best... etc" They played it in the first movie when Ash battles that guy who in the end sends out 3 pokemon against Pikachu. It seems that at the beginning of every movie im pretty sure except the one with Celebii plays the theme during a battle. I also liked the 2nd verse of the Advance Battle theme.

If someone can find the lyrics for those two, i'll finally be able to sing along to the song. (i have every single pokemon movie i've watched)
Never mind I found them, if anyone wants them, here they are
Full Lyrics for first theme

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause
I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
Each Pokemon to understand
The power that's inside

Pokemon!
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Pokemon!
Ooh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Pokemon!
Our hearts so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Pokemon
Gotta catch 'em all!

Every challenge along the way
With courage I will face
I will battle every day
To claim my rightful place
Come with me, the time is right
There's no better team
Arm in arm we'll win the fight
It's always been our dream

Pokemon!
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Pokemon!
Ooh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Pokemon!
Our hearts so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Pokemon
Gotta catch 'em all!

Pokemon!
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Pokemon!
Ooh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Pokemon!
Our hearts so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Pokemon

Pokemon Advance Battle Lyrics (Complete

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable

Looking down this endless highway
Nothing but my friends beside me
We'll never give in
We'll never rest
Advanced battle is the ultimate test
From the earth, the land
The sea, and sky
They can never win
But they sure can try

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable
Pokemon (advanced battle)
Oh oh oh
I'm undefeatable
From the stars and the ancient past
They come to play but they'll never last

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable
Pokemon (advanced battle)
Oh oh oh
I'm undefeatable
You think you'll win
But soon you'll see
You may be tough
But you can't be me

I'm undefeatable

There's a feeling deep inside me
And it's always there to guide me
It's in my heart and in my soul
Leading me to the ultimate goal
You can try your best this might be fun
You'll go down in defeat before you've begun

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable
Pokemon (advanced battle)
Oh oh oh
I'm undefeatable
Every move each attack you choose
You think you can win but you'll always lose

Holy S#!T!!! I took an hour to type this all down. I need some REST

Well before i do that, i'd just like to say that this is my opinion as i've said a few times here. You can argue with my OPINION, but you wont be able to change it

GOOD DAY

Mmmkay.

Well, the best legendaries by far were the Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres. Next Lugia.
It depends how you define 'best'. Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-oh and Rayquaza have the highest base stat totals (my knowledge only extends up to Emerald). The next tier is Kyogre, Groudon and Slaking (not a legendary) followed by other legendaries such as Deoxys, Jirachi Celebi. Interesting, Dragonite, Salamence and the like belong in the same tier. The legendary triples (Birds, Dogs/Cats/Gerbils, Regis) are ranked fourth. [/nerd]

The "Best" legendary is Arceus, 120 for every base stat giving it the highest base stat total of every pokemon (Albeit there are pokemon with higher individual base stats Arceus is better all around).

Hehe, I was gonna mention him, but my knowledge of 4th Generation isn't that great. Arceus is effectively a pumped up Jirachi/Mew/Celebi (with those type plates as well). As it doesn't excel in any one stat, I'd say some of the others who have more focused stats could take it down. :*

isaacx, the Elite Four only got stronger in FRLG. They do so in Platinum.

If you want something that works as a good combo, get a Kyogre, and teach it Thunder. It'll hit every time, and with its high SpAtk should be a blast!

You're so cheap. Go use something like Tentacruel. :P

My little commentary on the Elite Four and battling in general (not having read the pseudo-tower post above):

I've consistently found the Elite Four and the general battling system to be too easy. More often than not, you can overcome any difficult trainer through level grinding (which I think is a total waste of time). The Pokemon AI in general is pretty stupid, for instance, trying to use Rest when at full health. What's also quite disconcerting is that you can wipe out the whole Elite Four with just two decently raised Pokemon.

Actually, screw my rant. It's a game targeted at a young audience, so you'd be expecting kids to waste time fighting wild Pokemon to gain experience... That effectively negates my entire argument.[/copout]

Slight problem when you get slaughtered the second time round on the Elite Four in FRLG. Gyarados is a waste of time in that generation as it cannot use it's high Atk stat. So now I have to train a Lv.25 Lapras.

And I never knew you could find an Entei while surfing? I kinda did en-route to Cerulean Cave yesterday. The Legendary Dogs travel around Kanto after getting the National Dex. This is what you'll find.

Bulbasaur -> Entei
Charmander -> Suicune
Squirtle -> Raikou

Really? I would've thought a couple of well trained Pokemon could've easily beaten them, especially if you caught Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave. A Charizard and Dragonite at around level 60-65 with the appropriate EV's and attacks would suffice.

Another problem with the Elite Four is that each trainer predominantly uses one or two types, making it a walkover battle if you have the right attacks. Usually two or three different types cover them.

Haha, yeah it never made sense to me that the majority of the most powerful trainers (Leaders/EF) would fail to realise that crippling over-specialisation is actually a flaw. Sure, as of fourth gen some of the trainers are smarter about using different types, but you still have to wonder how they got to where they are in the first place.

I remember my days of playing Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition on a GameBoy Color all summer long. And then came 2nd grade and the days of Ruby and Sapphire. OH MAN. Ruby was the BEST. I could get all the way to the Elite Four (and sometimes beat them) over the course of a single weekend. Blaziken was an absolute beast in that game. Him and my Groudon pretty much dominated the E4.

I know it's my destiny
Pokemon!
Ooh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Pokemon!
Our hearts so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Pokemon
Gotta catch 'em all!

Pokemon Advance Battle Lyrics (Complete

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable

Looking down this endless highway
Nothing but my friends beside me
We'll never give in
We'll never rest
Advanced battle is the ultimate test
From the earth, the land
The sea, and sky
They can never win
But they sure can try

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable
Pokemon (advanced battle)
Oh oh oh
I'm undefeatable
From the stars and the ancient past
They come to play but they'll never last

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable
Pokemon (advanced battle)
Oh oh oh
I'm undefeatable
You think you'll win
But soon you'll see
You may be tough
But you can't be me

I'm undefeatable

There's a feeling deep inside me
And it's always there to guide me
It's in my heart and in my soul
Leading me to the ultimate goal
You can try your best this might be fun
You'll go down in defeat before you've begun

Oh oh oh
I'm unbeatable
Pokemon (advanced battle)
Oh oh oh
I'm undefeatable
Every move each attack you choose
You think you can win but you'll always lose

Holy S#!T!!! I took an hour to type this all down. I need some REST

Well before i do that, i'd just like to say that this is my opinion as i've said a few times here. You can argue with my OPINION, but you wont be able to change it

GOOD DAY
i would have a complete emerald (nonnational) pokedex: all you can get in the game without trading.
all i need to to capture one more volbeat (my game doesnt show i own volbeat cause i released it (must be glitchy), but they dont show up (ive spent two+ hours in the grass for one.)

my milotic isnt happening (for some reason, my beauty wont max, even though ive done all the natures on level 36 pokeblocks

and the original theme named off all 201 pokemon in order. i cant beleive i used to know and have it memorized.

*charmander
*charmeleon
*charizard
*...
*...
*etc 201 times
