This is the most expensive game I've bought in a long while.
Portal 2 - £39.99
PSMove Starter Pack - £39.99
Bluetooth Headset - £17.99
Yeah, I hope the slightly additional accuracy is bloody worth it.
EDIT: Lol, I hate the world. *cancels Move*

I'd just like to point out this little URL. What does it mean? Guess we'll find out in about 14 hours.

Buy Defense Grid and/or Super Meat Boy! Then play them a lot! There are other good games in there, but I think those are the best two.Izzy wrote:I don't have any of them :(

I don't understand what's so exciting about this, I played the demo (so my experience is not complete) of Portal 1 and didn't find it enjoyable at all. It was just sort of boring to me. Maybe I'm just not taking it in the right way or something but I didn't the first one. (Please don't kill me).

It has been critically acclaimed by many video game reviewers. The reason it's so good is due to it's ability to make you think very hard and carefully, as well as its off-kilter humour. My guess is that the demo you played was far too short and didn't give you a lot of the puzzling parts of portal that make it enjoyable. I suggest renting/buying the full version; it's a really small game. A slow person would take about 5 hours to complete it. Maybe then you'll get the whole picture.Slayr wrote:I don't understand what's so exciting about this, I played the demo (so my experience is not complete) of Portal 1 and didn't find it enjoyable at all. Aye. Even my CoD-obsessed roommate had fun with Portal after I made him play past the first 20 minutes or so. He actually just replayed it again a couple days ago in preparation for 2. I did too actually, and tried to go as fast as I could, and finished in about 50 minutes. It is a pretty short game if you know where you're going.

Just a few of us. I think it was a little short, but it is packed with awesomeness so I'm not gonna complain.Izzy wrote:Anybody play it yet?

Just thought I'd drop some thoughts:
didn't play the co-op yet. Played through the single player in a single six hour sitting. Was hilarious, amazing. Loved the puzzles and new mechanics. Would play again.

I agree with most of what Yahoozy said, except I found both single player and coop way too easy. I hope they release some challenges/advanced maps like they did for Portal.
