Actually, played it, loved it, played Ogre Battle 64, loved it. Played all three tactics Ogres, loved 'em all - Now thinking about pitching an Ogre Battle MMO to Atlus Online, because that would be *SICK*kai wrote:Has anyone played Ogre Battle?

I prefer GBA Castlevania.Yahoozy wrote:The GBA Metroid titles are fantastic, and the GBA Castlevania titles are incredible. I really enjoyed Boktai for the GBA, as well. Yoshi's Island also, of course, it being one of my favorite games ever.
It was too hard for me though, back at the time, I couldn't finish it.

Hey, I think I'm buying a Game Boy Advance for ~30-40€... used of course.SlappyMcGee wrote:Donfuy wrote:QFETunco123 wrote:Anybody mentioned Mario?
In every platform of gaming.
~
Locoroco
Super Mario World, Metroid Fusion, Advance Wars 2 (I've only played the 2nd), Pokémon Green Leaf.
I'm soooooo forgetting games.
(and I played them all in emulators, by the way)
KIND OF DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF PORTABLE GAME
What, am I late to the portable devices?
After all, it's only 8-7 years old!
I would want a PSP with OOOOH FUSION TIIIME Locoroco 1 & 2 but I've more important stuff to buy right now :P
Maybe I'll be looking a little childish in Uni, with a 1st Gen Eee PC on one hand and a GBA on the another, playing Kirby and Metroid (cute/explosive mix).

The ones for N64 and GBC were the only good ones. The power shots and all that other crap ruined the series.

Pokemon definitely. What other series is so successful with no mothership titles on home consoles? Other than that not very many genres are represented well on handhelds, if only because of hardware limitations. TWEWY and Echoes of Time are my recent favorites, but Fusion and Zero Mission have aged well.

THIS IS THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY ABOUT PORTABLE GAMES IS THAT THEY SUCK ARE FOR N00BS WHY SPEND MONEY ON SOMETHING WITH GRAPHICS THAT SUCK AND COST $150-$350. UNLESS IT'S A LAPTOP.

Er... Right. Could have argued that point slightly better, as opposed to just typing with the Caps Lock on and with horrible grammar, but meh.andru94 wrote:THIS IS THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY ABOUT PORTABLE GAMES IS THAT THEY SUCK ARE FOR N00BS WHY SPEND MONEY ON SOMETHING WITH GRAPHICS THAT SUCK AND COST $150-$350. "Graphics that suck". So, you're saying that it's not a technological feat to be able to play a game with the same graphical capabilities as a Playstation in your hands?
'AND YES I KNOW IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH POKYMUN OR WHATEVER THAT SHIT IS BUT MEH" - Okay... Why are you posting then? Because the post doesn't fit the topic...
Right, moving back onto topic, Golden Sun 3 is definately a looker for this title. It may seem a little odd me posting a game that isn't out yet, but the previous two were brilliant games, and this one needs to be written well, considering they rounded off the whole story in the second game, and seeing as how well writen the last two were.. It is set in the future, apparently, with the plot revolving around the protagonists' descendants (but I wanted to play as Felix...).
It does look good.

Except that it'll be complete fodder for new players, since Golden Sun doesn't have the same fanbase it once did hanging around. :/Drathmoore wrote:Er... Right. But they'll have a larger fanbase than Duke Nukem Forever (Oh Snap!).
...Yeah. Couldn't resist that one.

Donkey Kong Land. Basically straight up black and white ports of the Country games. I still break out the GB Pocket occasionally for some sexy times with DKLIII.
That isn't accurate. Ports retain level design, whereas these portable DKC games were completely original games. And that is why they are special ^.^

On topic, I fell in love with Quest for Camelot. It's bloody hard, and the last battle was incredibly hard, but what a game.

I've heard rumours that Fawful is the main antagonist. I'm not completely sure, but that's what I've heard from one of the Hellfire Commentaries...Leaff wrote:YES!spudzalot wrote:Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga

Well according to my handy-dandy Nintendo Power, apparently Fawful takes over Bowser's castle. So yah it sounds like he is a major bad dude. But yah Im also glad he is back, one of the funniest characters ever made. :]

Also, I didn't notice that Pheidi mentioned the Pokemon TCG for GB color. That's one's really great too.
Earlier today I went looking for used copies of the old Golden Sun games, but alas, I found nothing. ;__;
However, I DID get Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion for $14. ;D
