If you give me the opportunity, I'll play "cheap". if I'm dedede on circuit and I grabbed you, I'm not going to purposely release you out of honour, I'll chain you to the edge and kill you. Doing otherwise is so artificial. (that said, I don't mind the stage, it just gives chaingrabbers an advantage.)

I will also have no reservations about racking up 200% with metaknight jab against the wing of corneria then dsmash for quick kill. This doesn't show I have no honour, it shows that the stage should be banned for allowing that strategy at all.

That remembers me the thing I hated about the new maps (note that I haven't played Melee).

THE FUCKING CORNERIA IS SO FUCKING SMALL COMPARING TO THE ORIGINAL!!!!!! (I do realize it wasn't even called corneria in the SSB)

Whaat? «oh, people would only run and watch others die» <- That's lame. There are other maps (like that Temple or the other enormous city of Mother, can't remember the name).

WHAT ABOUT THE KING OF THE WING? Me and my brother were always trying to do that. Big battles were done there. The biggest battles, I must say. It was the map were I played (when I only had SSB) over 90% of the times!!! Planting bombs on the top of the Starfox. Waiting. Letting it be forgot. Seeing it exploding and listening to my brother saying (OH JEEZ I FORGOT THAT BOMB, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE). 2 years ago, I was up with my brother (who was fucking 9 years old) 18 hours a day, playing there.


I wanted to say this for a long time, and now I've said it. THAT MAP HAD IT ALL!!


And Jigglypuff isn't fun. She is slow on the air (although sometimes that's good) and she doesn't slap others as good as Peach =D

On mario curcuit you can bend around DeDeDe's chaingrab. Just stay on the top middle platform. My chracters can camp from there. And when it comes to corneria Im not dumb enough to fall into a tilt/jab lock. Just stay away from thar area.

Good choice condog! Aerial game is great and rest is so freaking sexy! Here is a tip, go to Delfino Plaza. You can hit people from under the stage and when there are water areas use Rest and fall into the water to instantly wake up! Did I inspire you from yesterday? :D

Haha sort of. Mostly it's the fact that my brother always plays as Ike, and he can mostly beat me when i'm using Ice Climbers. So I started to rotate between Kirby and IC. Then as i was doing random characters against him, and i used Jigglypuff and knocked his ass out. Also, it's awesome to be able to jump under levels. :D Also, following the pattern of fast characters with lots of jumps, i've started using MetaKnight as well. I do love the floaty characters.

I just played Kno3 over WiFi, man it was fun! Here's how it went down:

Haha, my friends know me for knowing a lot more about games than actually being good at them. I don't know how good you are, but it could be a pretty even match. I definitely want to play you too.

EDIT: got it working for one match, but then got some error repeatedly after waiting a few minutes in the practice room. The time when I got the game going, it lagged atrociously and was latent by about 500ms.
Anyone else with these problems?

Wow I remembered everything. lol. The Jiggz match was hilarious because I killed him all three times with Rollout (normal B). It was sooo funny. I couldnt stop laughing, but we are friends so I wasnt a jerk or anything. Also I just realized how many times I counterpicked Halberd...

Also PALEMOON. I won in a Free For All Falcon Fight (FFAFF). Does that count? ;__;

wow, I find it interesting that you main snake but you're able to pick up obscure characters for the occasional match. For me I have 3 and a few more backups, but I can't really improvise any others for a certain matchup. Did you do that just for fun, or to psyche out your opponent?

Also, I was initially surprised at your choice of jiggs vs meta, but it kinda makes sense to me now. I guess he's one of the few with a tornado counter who can withstand the quick gimps and stagespikes that a meta relies on.

I'd definitely like to see some videos of your playing. Was the tourney recorded?

Hehe. I use Snake, Weegee, Jiggz, Marth, Olimar, and Yoshi really well. No Yoshi today because I didnt need him for any matchups (Falco, Diddy, Metaknight NOT AT RAINBOW CRUISE). And no not really to psyche them out but they were surprised by Weegee and Jiggz.

Jiggz vs Meta is about a 45:55 in Metaknights favor. So not too much of an advantage. Also its my only character that can live survive in Rainbow Cruise. @__@

Also, no, the tourney wasnt recorded. Sorry.

I started an official metanet roster, with stats. It's easier to find the person you want to fight with, and a bit more organized to. I figured that there are some vibrant players here, so I didn't want to let some good play go to waste.

well if you get wifi you can. so a wireless router. or if you use ethernet instead you can buy a little device to plug into the computer to make the wireless signal. and then you connect
