Sorry about the wait, fellas. We're back on track now.

To everyone who hasn't finished a match, you guys have 36 hours from this post to send me a PM detailing your situation. If I don't receive PMs from you, you will be disqualified. If there has been some problem with your opponent, then let me know that as well. If I don't receive any PMs, offending parties will take a match loss, and be removed from the tournament.

Round 3 on its way!

Alrighty, cats n' Kittens! It's time for Round 3! The holidays are over, so let's get this going again!

We're going to have 14 days to complete each round - Please communicate with me and with your opponent to see if we can get this round finished early!

Round 2 Results and Round 3 Pairings are up! Our deadline this week will be Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at 12:00 AM PST. If you have any connection problems, be sure that you PM me as soon as possible, and we'll get something worked out! After this round, I will be auto-disqualifying pairs that don't get done.

Also, as an announcement, we are going to be doing four rounds, not five. Sorry for any confusion, but we're cutting things slightly short.

a great alternate gameplay:
bet cards with your friends. match rarity.
have 5 rounds. the winner of each round takes the opponents bet pile, and you tally scores. loser puts out another betting card. winner doesnt. continue. add up points. whoever has the most points gets the pile

ALSO

do the same, but with common shards creatures. shuffle betting card deck (no more than 4 of each card), and place the top one faceup in you betting pile. your creatures all get the card's effects. follow same winning and losing rules. winwinwin!
note: try only betting creatures

As weird as these sound, they are extraordinarily fun. but you have to do this face-to-face, not on a computer

these gameplay methods may not be sold, copied, or reproduced in any format. these gameplay methods belong to blackbelmoral (we'll leave it at that) and will stay in writing only in therealn forums.

Blizz, my connection has been going in and out over the past couple of days (hence my lack of activity), so I haven't been able to get a match going with Clifty. I'll try organise a time and play our matches as soon as we can.

You guys get 48 hours to let me know status before I move into round 4. Thanks for letting me know. Everyone else has the same amount of time - I'll disqualify anyone who hasn't run a match this round (Including myself), and we'll move into round 4 then.

Me and GW had our match, and after a neck and neck race to pull out bigger amounts of bigger creatures, I ended up winning 2-0. Since I believe this makes me the champion, here's my deck.

LouDog004 2:0 sidke

Good match, really good second game. sidke had to triple mulligan and still had me down to negative life, but I had a mend up my sleeve, and returned the favor next turn.
