Yeah, I've been addicted to this game like enhanced crack. With 86 hours of gameplay(the only file I play anymore) on one file, and 42 on another(long abandoned), I think it shows.

Currently, I have 4 clan members around level 70-80. An Illusionist/seer(luso), a Spellblade/assassin, an alchemist/sage, and a dragoon. All 4 I consider trump cards.

Luso's like the ultimate mage right now, thanks to Mr__X who told me about the illusionist/seer thing. He's got duel wield, so I use magic frenzy with an illusionist spell. That way, he casts magic on every enemy, then proceeds to physically attack all the enemies twice because of the rods. If al the attacks hit, and they aren't resistant to any of the spells or weapon elements, I deal at the least 300-400 damage to all enemies.

My dragoon has like 716 health, with dragonheart, which casts reraise on him when he takes damage. But he only takes like 1 damage from most attacks, so, yeah... He also deals about 300 damage with an ordinary melee attack. He's like the juggernaut of my clan.

The other 2 aren't as impressive so I won't go into their details, but they're both strong enough that each of them alone with a bunch of weakling clan members is enough to win a battle.

So, anyone else play this game? If so, I want to hear what kinds of strategies you guys have put together.

*whew*

I played it a bit before I gave my DS away, but I've played obscene amounts of the original FFT - and both were pretty magnificent. I don't really remember strategies, but I'm certainly a fan.

I have played for probably 40 hours... although it has been awhile, I bought TWEWY at about 35 hours played, and that started sucking large amounts of my DS time

Heh. I'm verging 90 hours. The box didn't lie when it said over 100 hours of gameplay.

Anyways, now that I've beaten The Five Kings quest, the rest should be a breeze. That quest is up against the 5 Kings of Cinqueleur. 5 level 99 mages.

Sorry, but I'm gonna bump this for an update.

I just beat all 300 quests. I currently have 4 party members at level 99. The only unsanctioned quests(not listed but optional) are Brightmoon Tor part 3 and "The Final Quest" which is a 5 match survival tournament against all level 99.

Has anyone else gotten this far, and/or need any help?

I just started on FFTA2 but I have a 120 hour FFTA save with a main set of char such as a dual wielding Marche who strikes for over 150 damage with each weapon (plus is a blue mage with the most powerful monster skills). An assassin/sniper with ultima, every assassin attack, and concentrate plus camouflage from the sniper end and an auto-life ring. a red mage/summoner with the ability to double cast both large area of effect healing resurrection and damage spells who can single-handedly kill every undead team in the game. A hunter with concentrate and a 600 damage ultima plus a sidewinder that hits for 400 on monster enemies. A morpher with a maxed out dragon plus geomancy. And also a few other ridiculously overpowered characters. (Yes I had an addiction to it)
Numerous ex-0ths (xaaaaeeeelaaaar!), over 300 top-20s and a 19+ hour total score.
