I reckon it'll be a hit. I'm definitely buying one, even if it means rejecting GHWT and Pokémon. But that's mainly because my DS is on its last legs.

It's going to be a good console for the casual audience. But what Nintendo have said about hard core gamers are going to be the ones who like this best is bullshit as it's region locked.

Bad. Not upgrading from DS Lite.

1) Region locked
2) No GBA port
3) Camera is useless

Good points to it

1) DSWare (GB Classics?)
2) SD Slot (Homebrews?)
3) New UI (Looks real nice)

It is a good deal if

a) you don't have a DS yet
b) you don't have/care about playing any GBA games on your DS (I thought it was cool that they added the GBA slot to the DS originally, but I ended up hardly every using it)

since I have a DS Lite, I don't care (not to mention it won't be available outside japan 'til 2009 (imports not included))

Haha, "a third of a megapixel all up in yo FACE"! Classic.

This will clearly be a hit, for reasons shown in the third frame. Ninty fanboys will lap this up.
