I'm wedgie123.

I think I'm about level 36 of the second level of prestige. My current classes are something like: (Considering I'm having to re-unlock the weapons again)

Silenced thompson/silenced mp40/silenced type100/silenced stg (Each of these has it's own class with the same layout)
frag/ tabun

betty's
Stopping power
martyrdom

Ordnance training

Then I've got a sniper: (When unlocked, this would ideally be the PTRS-41, rather than the mosin)

scoped Mosin Nagant
frag/tabun

Betty's
Stopping power
Deep impact

Ordnance Training

Then some accurate mid-range ones like:

Silenced Gewehr/Silenced stg/ Silenced scoped or rifle grenade m1 Garand

And same set up as the rest.

The reason I've put them like this is because I tend to go through each of the weapons to unlock all of the stuff for it to get the xp points, then move to another gun and work through unlocking all of those too. The three sub machine guns have a constant place and never change. At the moment I've just got the scope for the garand, so now I'm working on the gewehr, and also the STG.

What's your highest score? I got a 61 kills to 9 deaths on dome once with a silenced mp40.

Also, I always play on Headquarters.

Also, my highest score on Nazi Zombies is level 26 or something with one other person. It wasn't legit though. :P

Yeah with nazi zombies you need a good team, preferably with comms, and a good plan that everyone sticks to. I think the highest not cheated level I've gotten to is about 15. Zombies is fun, but it can get a little repetitive after a while. :/

There is a level pack rumoured to be coming out early in the new year, which is cool.

I honestly think COD 4 is better but I use:

Type 100

Bandolier
Stopping Power
Extreme Conditioning
Greased Bearings

Moltov Cocktail
Flare

They are only ever effective in close quarters, as you might expect. If you are bursting into a room where you expect there to be some enemies camping then you can just run in and spray everywhere and usually get someone. Though the kills are far from instant, so you can often be countered by someone with a submachine gun before your flames have even killed them. Personally, I never use it. It's just too much of a gimmick that doesn't pack enough of a punch. Especially when you could have 2 frags or betty's instead.

So... It's just a cone of damage with a fire effect? To be honest for a flame thrower I think I may do better off with Far Cry 2.

We only own CoD4, which I believe to be the far superior game, if only because the weapons are modernized and the maps are friggin' excellent, (And that dog attack bullshit is just that.) but I feel I should share a story anyway.

My roommate, Studebacher Hoch, has always been far better at the game than I am. He joined a free-for-all on the map Bloc and the leader was a camping sniper who was winning with something like 15 kills. As if the Hoch didn't have a perfect game going 25-0 and winning the round. It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. He did it all with the shotgun, too.

My problem with this is that activision got the developers of CoD3 - the worst and only by Treyarch to make 5. Taking it back to WWII was exactly what I didn't want - I have had my share of historical shooters thanks, i'd like something more modern. Thankfully Activision are getting Infinity Ward to do 6. I played 5, and it just felt so unoriginal. Oh look, it's CoD4 with a WWII skin so I have shittier weapons. Oh and nazis, 'cause they are original coughwolvensteincough. Not to say it is a bad game per se, but in comparison with the rest of the series, like 3, leaves a lot to be desired.

That isn't quite true... it was 25-1. I died once checking my score.

I've got nothing really original to contribute here. World at War was boring the one time I played it; WWII shooters were cool last generation, mostly 'cause no matter how many times you played that Normandy landing level (and there was always a Normandy landing level) it was awesome enough to forgive a game for being shallow and poorly made. We've all saved the world from Nazism a billion times. We don't care anymore; frankly, if I have to wield a Thompson and wade into an unremarkable, snowy trench full of Krauts one more time, Hitler can have the world.

Innovation would be nice. A game where you play a Whermacht grunt, or an alternate history game where Hitler wins the war and you play a resistance member who fights to overthrow the fascists (I know it's actually been done once, but that game was fucking horrible. It doesn't count). Whatever. If you insist on going back to WWII time and time again, at least give us something to do.

Stole the words directly from my mouth ^_^ Well not really, because I couldn't put it quite so eloquently, but you know what I mean.
