I just watched a bunch of gameplay videos of Mirror's Edge and it looks so awesome. I cant wait to get home and play the demo. Anyone played it yet or agree that it looks totally freakin awesome?? Seems like the kind of game N players would like haha

I played the demo and loved it. Kinda reminds me of Marc Ecko's Getting Up: contents under pressure.

I just watched a clip on it on YouTube.
It seems really fun, but too bad I'm lacking a PS3 / 360.

Oh in that case, (I'm clearly behind) then buying this game could be a possibility.zj820 wrote:its coming out for PC as well. I've been playing the demo it is so cool reminds me so much of N

I played the demo, and, to be honest, sure, it was awesome, but in my opinion, the fighting is crap.

Your barely meant to fight :P it's all about running. Albeit yeah fighting could do with some tweaking.Snuggletummy wrote:I played the demo, and, to be honest, sure, it was awesome, but in my opinion, the fighting is crap.

yeah, the point is to fight rarely, if at all.

Fighting is required at certain parts of the game.

Hehe, I saw that comic. I feel like having the center reticule on will prevent that, but unfortunately I won't be able to confirm that until the PC version comes out (January 6, which makes it a good b-day present).GTM wrote:Here's my opinion, shared by those at Penny Arcade :P

Don't buy it. The game gets old fast, and there is very little variation throughout the entire six hours of gameplay.

I don't think the game gets old because the levels stay fresh and new and I love how you usually have to run but sometimes you have to fight. I love the fighting system and I love the game engine. The gameplay is just awesome and it is so beautiful. Definitely an awesome game. One of the better of it's genre to come around in some time.
