Before you read, this game is Windows only, which sucks monkeynuts, but whatever. If you can get it to work on Mac or Linux, then by all means tell someone who wants to play, this game is fun for all.

Ok, so, I've been playing this game called EUO lately, or Enhanced Ultima Online, and I've grown to love the game very much so. If you're wondering what it is, it's essentially a roguelike (The gameplay is like one) only it's fast paced, and multiplayer. What makes the game so awesome though is the fact that you can pretty much customize your class, and no, this isn't one of those Korean games (Because we all know that's what you think when someone talks about MMOs). Anyway, so in the game, there usually isn't more than like.. 4 people on at a time, and I recently made a Metanet guild in it. Now, what's cool about guilds you say? The game has a map editor, and you can DESIGN THE GUILD HALL WITHIN IT. Meaning, we could have our own personalized guild within the game. What's even better is that we can decide on a location to place the guild.

Also, if you're wondering about gameplay, the game has an overworld, and you move along it with the arrow keys, it's actually a shitton simpler than most roguelike-esque games. I mean yes, you do use p to drink a potion, and it DOES matter if you hit Shift+P or p, but other than that, the game has a complete control list, which is nowhere near as long as the ones in roguelikes. Also, to level up in this game, it's kind of different. I hear it comes from Ultima, but either way, instead of a "DING, you gained a level, now distribute some skill points!" you instead have to search for a shrine that'll in turn give you the stats you want. So leveling isn't just a walk in the park, you have to work for it. Need strength? Then you'll need to find the Shrine of Valor, which incidentally is located near the starting area.

Also, I walked outside of town in the game, and was bitten by a werewolf D:. I am now a werewolf when there's a full moon, and I can attack other players and make them werewolves.

Ther's actually something that makes the game look "prettier" even though it looks fantastic as is. I'll link to that, but until then, if you decide to play the game, then you'll want to read the quickstart guide, which I'll link shortly. If you're even in the game, look for Xenorax, as that is me. And remember, this game is actually so much fun when you get the hang of it.

Xenorax/Diclonius = Snuggletummy
Esfandiyar = bobaganuesh
Hunicara = xwd
CLifford = spoon/ladle
BIGSTRONG = Yahoozy

I look forward to seeing you in game, and from the looks of the community, we could take this thing over.
