Since first playing Diplomacy I've always thought it was a really cool game: it encouraged thinking, strategy, and socialization, and it's hella fun. I even got the boardgame for Christmas or something, but I don't have enough IRL friends that are into board games so I'm wondering if anyone else is interesting in playing an online version of Diplomacy. These two websites look half-decent enough to let us do what we need to and play a kick-ass game; we would just need a number of committed people and a decision as to which website to use.

http://webdiplomacy.net/

Both sites display the rules to the game.

So, is anyone up for it?

i usually don't do turn based but if its not just text based and there are moving images displaying what you are doing, i'd be down for it.
