You all have em,
Old games that you still play a lot, for nostalgia reasons. or just because you really like em.
Wether it's a 1 year old game or a game thats generations old. Post your favorites here!
Some of my own favorites are
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Guns! ,FRAG OUT!, Luminaflare has been kicked for excessive teamkilling!
Shooting terrorist in a realistic setting with buddies is always fun, especially when we play with team metanet(KiA), it's usually good for lots of laughs and we sometimes lose a nights sleep over it, because we tend to forget to stop playing .
Too Human
Vikings!, Valhalla!, Horrible Control Scheme!
A action RPG set in a alternate future, where gods walk among men and defend humainty from extinction by evil death robots.
It's a game wich has a awkward control scheme wich takes a lot of getting used to, but the loot gathering and sheer amount of things to kill more than makes up for it.
Crackdown
Explosions!, Violence!, Explosions!
Crackdown is one of the older games i have, in wich you play as a super cop, who has to kill 21 evil dudes with attitudes. Super powers and overpowered weapons a plenty, and transforming cars to boot!
Oh and there is co-op.
Liero
Worms!, Explosions!, hotseat!
A old 2 player PC Death match game in witch you play as worms, who have to kill eachother, featuring a wide variety of weapons, and ninja ropes, this games matches can last hours and you'll easilly play this for days.

Grade 11. FreeDOS bootdisk with the Liero executable on it. That one computer in the library at school that the librarian couldn't see from her desk. Hours of fun.AzMiLion wrote:Liero

Halo. The original. Blood Gulch is one of the best maps ever made.

Temporary hiatus for learning and shit.

Every Six months or so I run through the PC version on Legendary. It's still one of the coolest FPS experiences ever, imo.fawk wrote:Halo. The original. Blood Gulch is one of the best maps ever made.

Still occasionally get some Blood Gulch LAN going during boring classes. Liero is another, every few months. The Zelda game for me is Link's Awakening on the handheld <3.

Saints Row 2. I'd name more games, but yeah, no... that'd take a while.

Yeah, I like Vice City a lot still. For me, I'm playing Bioshock right now for the first time on my roommate's 360. Fantastic game.987654321 wrote:GTA VC needs to be on this list.

Zelda, Majoras Mask in particular. Metroid Prime I/II and Super Metroid are also frequent go-backs. All the DKC games, and a few SNES Marios. SNES is the best system out there.

This and Link's Awakening.Yahoozy wrote:Every asset of Ocarina of Time induces the greatest surge of nostalgia that no other game has ever done for me.
I also get a strong feeling of nostalgia from playing Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark and Mischief Makers (all N64 games).
Equally I get the same when in certain regions of Majora's Mask and Final Fantasy X - more specifically 'Ikana' and 'Cavern of the Stolen Fayth'.

[PROTOTYPE] - Horrible story and subpar visuals, but man is it fun to fly around New York City and just mess shit up.

How old is old by this thread's rules, anyway? Or is it a subjective thing? Maybe it's because I haven't bought a new game since MW2 in January because I'm poor. Seriously though, Prototype? It came out less than a year ago and Dead Space was released in 2008. Dead Space, of course, is still totally awesome and the sequel is confirmed for fall this year, but I digress. Vegas 2 isn't that old either.
Advance Wars 2, GTA: SA, Medal of Honor: Frontline, and Crash Team Racing, baby!

My lord that place was fun. I like the near-campout part you have to go through to enter it, and the weird castle thingy before the temple.amomentlikethis wrote:...more specifically 'Ikana'...

fuck yeah it is! loved playing ctf on that map but i hated how the score limit was always three captures, i preferred ten XD. oh, and tanks were just too much of a problem on that map, seeing as you could just sit on a hill and snipe EVERYONE ANYWHERE. anywhere outside that is... and thats 99% of the map :/fawk wrote:Halo. the matirx: path of neo. playing it for the first time, though im not digging the crappy graphics. looked so much better in the GamePro pictures...
