Anyone else going to be getting this? From what I've heard so far, it's going to be beautiful; full 1080p definition, over 70 race track, and a huge amount of stunningly good cars!

Also, this GT has damage, which previous games haven't had due to legal issues (the car owners didn't want the players to see the cars in anything less than pristeen condition). That means you can now have epic smashes and even flip your car! Fun times!

It was due to be released last month, but has been delayed for unknown reasons and will be released some time this year. Either way, I can't wait to get it!

I would be very interested if I had a PS3. It's great to hear that there will be car damage finally, as it was quite silly that you could drive full speed into a barrier as a means of slowing down. I even remember there being one track in which there was a corner which was faster to take if you scraped the barrier the whole way around it.
I wonder what they'll do wit the A-Spec and B-Spec modes. Since it was silly that you could complete a race just by leaving the computer to win it for you. Also I wonder if the formula one style cars will make a real appearance. They were in the hardest championship in GT4, but actually getting one of the cars was near impossible.

But it looks to be a great game, and they have really gone down the right track (pun intended) with allowing more elements of real world racing into the game.

There was a Ferrari F1 car in GT5 Prolouge, so I would expect that F1 cars will feature.

Also, Top Gear test track! =D

I's consider getting it, but I'm not willing to buy a PS3 or and Xbox 360. But still, it's always cool when another Gran Turismo installment comes out.

I've got 2 and 4, and I'm only about 10-15% of the way through Gran Turismo 4 (havn't played it in a few years). Anyone have any higher completion percentage?

As a very big fan of GT series, if I can save up money I will buy it for my PS3. And it's cool that cars are damaged in this one, in the previous games it felt like the cars from was plastic or something, as if I was driving a wooden box, I toss to wall with 160 km/h and nothing happens to car? That's not good. I 'm glad they added that feature.
