My brother plans to get the family a Wii and he thinks he should get a second-hand Wii. If any of you guys have experience on second-hand Wiis, care to share?

Unlike xbox 360s a Wii won't spontaniously combust. So there should be no issue just make sure everything is with it.

I have a wii but mines not second hand ... if your going to get a second hand make sure you buy it from a trustworthy seller /// and also ... if the people keep it in nice condition like most wiis are it should feel sorta brandnew ... so yer go for it

The console is so amazing that no one would get rid of a Wii without good reason. ;)
Kidding. I doubt that everyone's selling faulty Wiis out there. Is there a store near you that resells used consoles? I'd go to them before an independent reseller because the stores probably check them and all that good stuff for you. In this case, though, I have no second-hand pie, so that's just my two cents and not much more.
Thinking about it, second-hand pie would be kinda gross, wouldn't it? XD

Second hand Wiis are perfectly fine. As long as you buy it from a trusted source (i.e. a proper retailer or something), there shouldn't be any problems.

It appears we want to buy from my sister's friend. I believe we can check the condition or something. Thanks all.Pheidippides wrote:Kidding. I doubt that everyone's selling faulty Wiis out there.
